“20 cm” (7.9 inches) and “small” in the same fucking sentence? Are you kidding me?

I’ve noticed this pattern so many times. Dildos with the average penis size (or much bigger than average like in this case) being described as “small”. I know everything is relative and those dildos might be smaller than an obelisk-sized silicone monstrosity that needs its own building permit, but I can’t help but think that the word choice distorts the view of what an average dick is like. Language matters. Calling something that’s literally above average “small” isn’t harmless.

What if the roles were reversed? If fleshlights that were tighter than the average vagina were marketed as “loose fit”. Would that be deemed acceptable? Probably not. I suspect the backlash would be swift and furious. So why is it socially acceptable - even normalized - to talk about dicks this way?

There’s a lot of focus on how porn and social media wreck women’s self-esteem - and rightly so. But I don’t think it’s discussed enough how the same thing is happening to men. Porn (and the sex toy industry by extension) is ruining the perception of the normal male body.

It must be incredibly painful to have self-esteem issues regarding penis size - something completely out of your control - in a world where it is normalized to use this distorting and sometimes directly degrading language about dicks. It is not okay. I contacted that specific web shop about it. There's a big chance they might not give a fuck - but I do. And passive tolerance is still a form of participation, so I am gonna annoy everyone with my point of view.

I adore the studio version of Mars, but the ending of this live version just does it for me. Fuuck.
