25 "you've no idea what you do to me," vulnerability dialogue prompts !!
(feel free to use <333 tag me when yall write!! my favs are 5!! 10, 3 )
"God, I need you."
"I've craved this more nights than I can remember." :'')
"Would it assure you if I say.. that I'd be honored to protect your vulnerability with me?"
when you both sleep together after a traumatic event, you holding them
^ they silently whisper, "I'm scared.. That you'll leave me once you see how much I need you. that this love will consume me, make me.. clingy, and you'll see I'm just.. broken"
"Can you hug me?" By a really vulnerable you and they still at the request before one hand moves to your back, holding you against them - perhaps more tightly than necessary.
They make a choked sound, half laugh, half sob, pressing their forehead against yours, "What would I be without you?"
"Would you... would you be okay if I put my arm around your shoulders? Like, hugging you from the side?"
^ "Would u want to?" you ask but they hadn't expected you to ask if they wanted to. your question implies that you care about their feelings too, and it touches something deep within them. "Yes," they admit softly. "I do."
Cuddling but its them on top resting their ear over ur heart and listening to its beatssssss
3 am truth exchanges and both your voices are really quiet, intimate and genuine, eyes shining with lots of emotions that you both honor and hold close.

A monster forcefully switches places with you. You become a horrible creature, and the monster assumes your form. Unfortunately for the monster, your life absolutely sucks—and you have no intention of swapping back.

Victorian ingenuity: a mahogany "reading station" crafted by Charles Hindley & Co. circa 1890. It features a double wing-back seat with an arm divider, each seat equipped with an adjustable reading stand, various compartments, drawers, and bookshelves.

Writing Prompt 2-Part 1
This one is turning out to be super fun, I think it might be more short story length than flash fiction. But here's just the first part. Again, no editing or anything. I'm using prompts to help practice, so these are the first words that come to mind. I'm just flowing and letting it happen. Grumpy Alchemist and excited assistant, save village from love potion
The tinkle of the bell and creak of the door were the only sounds as Mari stepped inside the old shop. Beams of sunlight poured in through clean spots on the dirty windows, and the smell of musk and damp filled her nose.
The shelves were nearly bare and dusty and the things that were on the shelves were old, worn, or broken.
“Hello?” Mari said as the floorboards creaked under her footsteps. “Is anyone here?”
“Back here!” Came a voice and Mari saw a door open behind the glass counter. She peered around the door and found a dwarf with white hair and beard shuffling boxes around in an open room.
“Hello,” Mari said, holding up the flyer she carried. “I’m here about the position?”
The dwarf grunted and wiped his hands on his apron. He looked her small frame up and down with a raised eyebrow. “Can you lift heavy boxes?”
“I can,” she said. “And if I can’t, I have my magic.” She fluttered her wings.
The dwarf grunted again. “Good with math?”
“Yes.”
“Got any references?”
Mari handed him a scroll. He read through it and grunted again. “All right,” he said. “You can start tomorrow. I pay ten gold pieces a month and paid once a month at the end of the month. We are closed on all gods’ days, solstices, and Sundays. Start at dawn and leave a little after lunch.”
“That sounds great!” Mari grinned, and kept herself from jumping with joy at the ten gold pieces a month! That was more than she made for an entire year at the Inn!
“Good,” the dwarf said. “Tomorrow we clean. Wear something er-less colorful.”
Mari glanced down at her ombre peach and pink petal dress and gave the dwarf a salute. “Aye, aye Captain!”
“My name’s Dhothour,” he grunted. “Don’t calle me captain.”
“Yes, boss!”
Dhothour narrwoed his eyes, but didn’t dismiss it, and waved Mari away.
Mary kept a slow pace until she left the shop and then raced back to her cottage to tell her sister the good news.

"She makes some good points."
"She's a villain. She's holding the governor hostage."
"I never liked that guy, honestly. He keeps trying to cut school lunch programs. Oh, hey, she's bringing that up."

Writing Prompt practice
I came to the realization that I wasn't writing for fun anymore. That I was forcing it too much and it turned into a job that I do. Getting words on the paper is like pulling teeth every time I sit down to write. My brain just goes blank. I forgot how to write for fun. For the sheer joy of creating a story and watching it grow on the page. So I'm going to try writing some flash fiction from prompts I find just for fun. They won't be neat, they won't be the best prose, but they will be a way to remember that giddiness of having an idea spark and not being able to write fast enough because your fingers can't keep up with your brain because you are just so excited about it. Hopefully I'll be able to stick to it at least once a week. I need to not beat myself up if life gets in the way. But that's what I'll be doing and I'll be posting them here or on my Patreon.

To be entirely clear, I have never met a writer who doesn’t get incredibly happy and excited to receive positive responses to their work. Always, always feel free to leave a small message, even if you have nothing to say but just want to convey that you’re enjoying yourself. No matter how long ago or how recently their writing was shared, no matter how small or inconsequential or god forbid ‘cringe’ it might feel, you are all but guaranteed to make the writer’s day

morally grey x morally grey dialogue + prompts
@celestialwrites for more!!
♡ “i’m going to kill you.” “i don’t doubt it.”
♡ sending love letters? no. sending each other threats? yes.
♡ both never smiling but the edge of their mouth ticks up when the other is not looking.
♡ "nothing aggravates me more than seeing your face every day." "yet you keep coming back."
♡ both characters begin questioning their "no commitment" rules for each other.
♡ "i would not hate it if you stayed." "did you just say you wanted me to stay?" "no, i said i would not hate it if you did."
♡ fingers slightly brushing once and they both pull away immediately, but then they slowly let their hands drop again and intertwine fingers.
♡ "why do i even bother with you?" "my irresistible personality?" the character deadpans.
♡ both characters turn away when they smirk, to not give the other character the satisfaction of getting a reaction out of them.
♡ "my gods aren't you insufferable." "funny, i was just thinking the same thing about you."
♡ barely any PDA between the two, but cannot keep their hands off each other in private.

“As long as you look for someone else to validate who you are by seeking their approval, you are setting yourself up for disaster. You have to be whole and complete in yourself. No one can give you that. You have to know who you are - what others say is irrelevant.”

You know you're a writer when you’ve had entire conversations in your head with your characters but can’t remember what you had for breakfast.

What makes you a writer?
If you write, that makes you a writer.
Haven’t written in a while but want to get back to it?
You’re a writer.
Haven’t published yet or don’t plan to?
You’re a writer.
Only write fanfiction?
You’re a writer.
Don’t have any readers?
STILL A WRITER!
