Don't worry, I don't hate all ships. For example, Canada and Netherlands are cute. There are other ships I tolerate, because they aren't offensive.

I draw the line when it's about enemies, especially where the fought eachother, and killed millions.

I hate Sovame, but I actually like the dynamic they have. I just find that's a shame people make them into just "doomed yaoi uwu" and them making out. I find their dynamic interesting, and your characters don't have to be involved romantically to be interesting.

Can the countryhumans fandom learn from their mistakes and stop shipping countries together?

What I'm trying to say is that, shipping isn't a bad thing, mostly. But shipping countries together is just wrong. I don't like the people shipping planets, but it isn't offensive. But, shipping countries together (especially) enemies is just wrong. Countries, nations are built on history, tragedies, events that happened. It's just disrespectful to ship when involving countries, with people.

I like to see complex relationships, complex characters, but please don't make it into a romantic thing. We don't need that.
