I burned some incense for protection yesterday. I just had a feeling like I needed to. My brother said nothing of his plans to sell the house when I went to pay him the mortgage payment today. He's preoccupied with his baby due any day now. I get another month.

I need to get another job.

A lot of things are going poorly for me. After I lost my job last year my debts took over. My brother owns my house and after 6 years he's selling it, because I have been unsuccessful in buying it, which will effectively kick me out of it. I was told to fuck off from the business that I spent 7 years building, only to watch the quality of work coming out of it degrade into garbage. I quit smoking cigarettes almost 4 years ago and not only do I not feel any healthier than I did the 25 years I smoked, but I've gained 50 pounds I cannot manage to shed no matter how hard I try.

I'm 43 and this is not how I saw my life turning out.

So this is my first post here. I've never posted here before, and I have no idea what the plan is for this space. Or my life. So for now it just is, and I just am I guess.
