Rambling personal note:

I just wanted to take a minute to talk about this blog. I realised I've been posting on it since either 2016 or 2017, when I was seventeen years old. This blog (and getting fully into Lana in 2014/2015) was a huge lifeline for me at seventeen; it was a creative outlet just as much as it helped me at my worst. I didn't have the best edits (I still don't, but I have too much fun to let it bother me), I didn't get thousands of notes on my posts and I sometimes wonder if I was writing too much, but it's brought me so much joy and I'm proud of it - even the scrappy, messy posts.

I'm twenty-five now and I can't believe how the time has flown. I've posted a lot less in recent years (I went to university for two degrees, had jobs, moved out the city in that time, as well as my personal ups and downs) but I always get so much happiness, relaxation and a feeling of belonging in this Lana fandom on this blog. I'm not someone who converses with strangers online, but I appreciate my followers and anyone who interacts with my posts, not that anyone has to. Even if no one did and I had no followers, I would still be posting my weird little moodboards and unnecessary rankings. For that reason, I feel super lucky that my posts get seen and apparently enjoyed. I won't make a habit out of personal posts like this, but it made me smile to know this blog is still here and something that makes me happy. Sometimes I'm nostalgic for the Lust For Life days when I was on this the most before adulthood really hit. And now I'm half a decade into my twenties (no longer the teenager that spent hours on here for self-preservation), we've had four albums and the poetry since then and Lana is still an important artist in my life.
