Your roomate said as they looked at you in worry. You've been having nightmares lately, this was the worst one by far. You kept screaming in your sleep, waking up almost everybody.

"Oh, baby."

Was the first thing that came out of Willie's lips as he saw you sitting on your bed, covered with sweat. Your eyes only stared at the wall of the room, tiredness present in every aspect of yourself.

"What's the problem?"

He asked as he sat next to you, taking your hand into his.

".. I can't do it."

A broken whisper filled the air after a few seconds.

"I can't kill. I don't want to kill."

You finally looked at him, tears welling up in your eyes. Willie felt his heart break at the sight. You were so tired, you knew you weren't meant to be a killer. And he couldn't even do anything about it. Willie pursed his lips before giving your hand a kiss.

"I know, baby. Come here."

He said as he opened his arms. Scooting over to him, he placed his arms around you as you sat in between his legs. The sound of his heartbeat lulling you to sleep. Placing a kiss on your head, he stayed with you all throughout the night.

"Five more minutes."

A voice groaned out from behind you after you tried to stand up. Lex pulled you closer as you struggled. You finally gave up after a few tries and snuggled even closer to the boy. Turning around to face him, you gazed at his face for a few seconds, taking in every little detail.

"Good morning, love."

His dark eyes slowly opening—clearly still groggy.

"Good morning, Lex."

You whispered, raising your hand to rest it against his cheek. Lex smiled at the action and took your hand in his before placing a kiss on it. You stayed like that in silence for a few minutes. It wasn't everyday that you get to experience this much peace—especially with the life you two held. But at the end of the day, you both managed.

It went on for a few seconds before Lex rolled over you, you wheezed as you felt his weight press down on you.

"You're heavy, get off!"

You lightly smacked his arm. He laughed and placed a chaste kiss on your lips. Finally getting off of you, you stood up to stretch your arms. Lex sat up in his bed and placed his arms around your waist—not wanting to let go of you yet.

"Are you going to stay again tonight?"

"Lex, we have class tomorrow."

You murmured as you ran your hands through his ungelled hair. Lex sighed at this, still not letting go. Understanding that this'll last for more than a few seconds, you sat down on his lap. Lex rubbed your sides as he gazed at your eyes. Leaning in to whisper.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

Your life wasn't perfect, far from it really. But as long as you have Lex, it was as perfect as it could get.
