So-- am I weird? I go out and befriend a lot of Pokémon but hardly ever catch them or anything. I just kinda go outside and chill with them (safely of course. I like my body intact) instead of catching them and bringing them with me. I've had my aunt tell me once or twice it's not a common thing but I'm like 50/50 on believing her on these things

Update on this! We got her home safely! Thanks to a wild Deerling, of all things too. Weird, eh? Maybe they were friends. Anyway aromatherapy came in clutch and I came out of it without taking any embers to the face. A scratch or two, but nothing I'm not used to from playing with the Growlithe back in Virbank haha. We still don't know why there was a Litten all the way in Icirrus, but I guess the reason now is that she's part of the family? She was a little prickly for the first while but she's been coming around recently I think. Touching's still a no-go but she's been sitting next to me more like she used to, which is a good sign (I hope). I think the face-full of icy wind she got when I opened the door one time helped her realize why we brought her home haha No luck on a ball either but that's pretty expected and really I don't have a reason to really get her in one any time soon since we're both pretty much home all the time. Just in case though I have a luxury ball as a gift should the time come. --oh! and we named her Lint.

So just this Autumn I've made myself a friend with a local Litten. She's friendly, if not a bit skittish, which is kind of expected of a Litten.

Thing is, I'm worried about an oncoming cold snap. I haven't gotten her to the point where she'd want to come home with me and it's been on my mind she might not be able to stay in the cold since they're not locally wild here. Is the heat they produce enough? Or am I going to have to buck up and tank a few embers to the face while attempting to bring her home? I don't want to do this before she's ready or potentially break the trust we have by doing that. Is it worth it to do this and try to rebuild it after taking her home or are Littens safe in the winter in North Unova?

Why is a Litten in North Unova in the first place?

If it is a release, then yes, it may need help. However, if she is skittish enough to risk attacking you, do not approach. Call in Rangers, or local professionals.

A wild Litten should be able to manage its own body temperature, however. They are able to endure the cold remarkably well due to their internal flame-producing abilities. If it gets cold, it will simply light a fire.

However, that is only if it is wild. If it was released, it may not know how to do that. I can only recommend calling professionals anyway, just for safety.

Yo! Intro time.

What's up, it's your boy Chet. Didn't know me? Now you do. Sucker. I'm up in Northern Unova (Icirrus specifically) living with my aunt for a while. Not really in any sort of formal thing right now like a job or school, so things are pretty chill.

Bit about me is that I grew up in Virbank for the most part, though I've flip-flopped between Icirrus and Virbank throughout growing up. Finally decided to stay put for a while and have been up in Icirrus with my aunt for about two...ish? Years? Now? I forget-- anyway. I've got an interest in rock, punk, those typesa music (thanks to Roxie mostly) and have been playing guitar for about 6 years now. I like to think I'm pretty chill and friendly so no need to be intimidated sending me anything, eh? Oh also-- luxury balls or bust. Not my fault they're cool lookin'

The pokémon that I've got hanging out around the house are Pip the roggenrola (although at this point I think I call him roggsie more often hah), my aunt's glaceon Snowfie, and the most recent addition: Lint.

Hi! Name's Camille (she/her), a whole 20 years cooked. I follow from @chamomilecamille (though I don't really recommend going there. especially if you're under 18.) This is just a chill blog to have fun with so I'm not sure how involved I'll be but we'll see what the future holds I guess. Couple things about this one specifically is that I'll probably ignore any things that have real animals because Pokémon are just more fun, y'know? Depending on how things go I might change Chet's name/pronouns, but like... maybe. We'll see how I feel, this is all totally new to me. I'll also get art for him at some point but I'm not big on drawing people so it might be a bit.
