Out of This Earth. Watching 4x04 and Harry just built Cisco up about what a great guy he is and how any dad would be lucky to have him dating his daughter...except HIS daughter. ‘Jesse is off limits.’
Annnnnnnd now QuickVibe is back in my head. It was cute sort of at least as a BroTP/one sided crush when Jesse first came over. But not sure how much I like it what with the awkwardness of her and Wally’s breakup. IDK. So many confused feelings right now over these ships man.

Out of This Earth. Finally watching the new season ( don’t worry I am already prepared to be disappointed in the Jesse choices I’ve heard/seen on here ) and let me just say...Wally is looking DAMN good this season. That hair is NICE. Well done Wally.

OOC. My blog is not a resource blog. It is fine if you want to reblog a post or two but if my dash is filled with just reblogs from a single person (and this has happened multiple times now) that is a problem. There are actual blogs that make gif sets from shows that I have reblogged from. Please go reblog them from there if you want to have them on your blog.
I am not posting this to be nasty. I am just tired of my notifications being clogged up by reblogs of this nature. One or two is fine. Over 15 at once is a problem.

@metahuman-mutanthuman liked for a starter.
“He told Wally he was dying, Barry.”
Arms crossed she looked at the floor. She was just…so mad at him. He’d pretended to be all accepting and cool but like normal he had been lying to her. It wasn’t even like he was really trying to protect her. Just make her stay with him. And of course instead of telling her how he felt he had to resort to emotional manipulation of her boyfriend, who was so nice and good, that of course Wally'd encouraged her to stay with her dad. Because he was dying. With no hope for a cure. Terminal.
“For a moment,” she started again. “For just a split second, I thought maybe HR had been rubbing off on him.”
“That he really did care about what was important to me. Treating me like an adult who can make their own decisions instead of a little kid.”

OUT OF THE LAB.
Dear almost 350+ of you little science children,
Well. It’s been a long while hasn’t it? I’m so sorry I disappeared on you all, especially if in the middle of threads of conversations (looking at you @harriscnwclls or should I now say @saddadsquad). I just haven’t been feeling any of my The Flash muses the past few months so I breeched out a bit trying to find any inspiration. I wasn’t getting any writing done anywhere honestly. But now ( after several trips to comic book shops and seeing clips online ) I have realized how much I miss you all and this set of characters.
Caitlin, Tess, and possibly Jesse.
I need to update tags and verses for all three. Currently I do not have the power to do that since I am on vacation a few more days but when I get home I will try and finish revamping things.

Dear Followers,
I know I have been MIA and I say this a lot. My exam is next week that will determine a major part of my future. Due to this I have been away studying and working hard to pass. But there is another thing that has been bothering me.
I’m am not sure if you know this (you probably could guess) but I am an American. Our election results came through Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning and they were not positive as I see it. I wanted to address a few things and try and reassure anyone I can during this trying time. Feel free to skip over this but I encourage you to read this in full. There are some positive things listed at the bottom of my post that may brighten your day, even if it is just a little.
This is probably the first and last time I address political things on here because I try to keep that separate from my RP life but this is very important to so many people I know. So I’m just going to lay this out there.
I found myself closing at work as results were coming in. As I was leaving work Hilary only had 109 compared to Trump’s 150. California I don’t believe had been counted yet so I was worried, but not terrified. When all the swing states started going to Trump I knew we were in trouble. My friend from New Zealand called me when Trump was almost at 270. It was 3am my time and we talked for about an hour as the final results came in to put him over the needed win. I didn’t cry as much as I thought I was going to. I think I was a bit numb at that point. I’d been trying to prepare myself all day just in case (I live in the south which went to Trump.).
For those of you that don’t know, I have two adopted cousins; both of which have hispanic descent (I believe both stemming from Puerto Rican roots). Both are American natural born citizens. The elder of the two was involved in an attack at a Trump rally a few months ago in my town. He was attacked by a gym teacher from a local religious school for holding up a sign that said ‘Keep America Great Keep our Immigrants’. It was written in the colors of the Mexican flag. At the rally they were instructed that if a protester was there they were to simply hold up their signs in front of the protester’s and if the protester was shouting to chant Trump or something to that effect to alert security who would then escort them safely out of the rally.
My cousin went there to stand up for his friends and those who can’t stand up for themselves. He went not filled with hate but filled with determination and love for the people he was trying to speak for. A few people asked him to move slightly when he held up his sign so they could see Trump better to which he happily obliged. Everything was very civil and Trump even saw it and said ‘thank you for your opinion, ma’am’. (My cousin has longer hair so Trump along with several news outlets assumed he was not only an immigrant but also female.) Standing there for a good ten minutes he was waiting for the security to come get him. They did not come until after the incident.
A gym teacher came up behind him and ripped his sign multiple times before grabbing his hoodie. In doing so he is the one that started the violence and also started practically chocking my cousin. In order to breathe again he did raise an arm to grab the other man to try and loosen his grip. Then came the off duty cop/veteran. He started breaking them up but then yelled at my cousin and told him to do as he said because he was an off duty cop. Legally my cousin did not have to listen to the man since he was off duty. My cousin told him as much, hands raised up in a ‘don’t shoot’ style and tried to explain what had happened as the man continued to shout at him. Secret Service finally showed up and went to escort my cousin out with his broken sign. As they were walking Trump saw what was happening. He then congratulated the men on their job of dealing with the ‘touch cookie’ and applauded them. He then invited them on stage.
Donald Trump congratulated TWO GROWN MEN for attacking a TEENAGER. I understand thanking the vet for his service. That is fine. But he congratulated them for attacking someone that was practicing their legal right to a peaceful protest. My cousin was very angered and hurt by this so he did then raise his hands and flip off the rally as he was led out. He knows this was not a grown up move and has said he regrets it a bit.
Before this incident I was already terrified for him. He is one of the nicest, gentlest people I know. He is practically my little brother. He ‘blames’ me and my sister for who he is and I will gladly take that blame. (We may or may not have duct taped him to a chair at one point to make him watch Pride and Prejudice along with Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants…among other teaching moments.) He stands up for what he believes in and that makes me so proud.
So as I was on the phone to my friend I expressed how terrified I now am for my cousins and my friends. Not just because of the color of their skin but because of their religions, their sexual orientations, and their sexual identifications or the simple fact that they are female.
I felt so lost and confused. How could half of my country vote for a man that promoted so much hate. How could they support the horrible things he’d said he would do once in office. I do not believe all Republicans completely agree with this hateful rhetoric. But in voting for Trump, you have aligned yourself with this belief. You have enabled all the hate crimes that have popped up since Trump was elected. All the girls that have been told that their pussies are now free game, all the POC that have been told they are going to be deported or killed, all the people of other religions that have had their hijabs torn off or been followed or threatened. You have told people that this is acceptable. That is not okay with me.
I don’t know if any of you are American. Or what sex, race, sexual orientation, practicing religion or sexual identification you have. But I want you all to know that you are loved. That you matter. That no matter what I will not stop fighting for you.
I play many mothers on here even though I am not technically a mother myself. My maternal instincts however are on full throttle. I was at first so devastated by the results, not just because a woman lost, but because a qualified woman was beaten by a man that has spent the past several months objectifying girls, saying their opinions don’t matter and that men can just ‘grab them by their pussy’. Amber Tamblyn wrote an instagram post on this. (It is upsetting so consider this a warning if you read it.)
So to all the girls out there I want to say I’m sorry. On behalf of all the grown ups that voted to say that you don’t matter. I want to reassure you that this is not the case. You are valuable for more than just how you look. You are a human being with opinions and ideas that are beautiful and need to be shared. Do not let anyone demean or belittle you. Do not listen to the things our President Elect has said. You are loved. Leslie Knope said it better than me. Read her response to the election.
To people of color I am so sorry that so many of my fellow white females voted to say that your lives don’t matter. I am so sorry I couldn’t convince more of them to vote for someone that isn’t endorsed by the KKK or to not throw away their vote by voting for a third party. I want you to know that I have been and still am fighting for you and that I will never stop.
To everyone on the LGBTQ+ spectrum I am sorry more hate has been endorsed. I am sorry the right to marriage you finally earned is now in jeopardy. I will do whatever I can to stop more attacks on you.
To people of other religions I am sorry it is seen as acceptable to attack you for your religious beliefs. Many of the first settlers came here in order to escape that kind of thinking and I can not believe we are back-peddling. I can’t believe that people can think all Muslims are terrorists. There are extremists in all religions. Theirs just don’t get dragged through the dirt. They are just ‘tragic stories’ instead of ‘terrorists’.
The world is filled with so much anger, hate, and pain right now. I hope to change that.
To all of you, this blog is a safe space. I am an ally to all of you. If you need to talk I am always here and I have other ways you can contact me. Please message me and I will happily provide them.
Below I have linked some good news that has come out lately related to topics from this election. I hope that can give you a bit of solace while we plan our next step to bring more tolerance and love into what has been a long ugly battle. We will win with love.
Good News #1: (Slightly older article that many people missed amongst the election chaos. There are new articles covering it but I liked this one for its explanation.) Planned Parenthood Protected
“The Title X program provides basic preventive health care and family planning services for 4 million low-income Americans. About 85 percent of patients who use Title X have incomes below $23,500. Planned Parenthood serves about a third of those patients, using the $70 million a year it receives in Title X grants to subsidize contraceptives and cancer and sexually transmitted infection screenings for people who can’t afford them. Title X does NOT allow any money to be used to pay for abortions for any reason.”
THE LAST SENTENCE is important for people that think all PP does is abortions. It does so much more. But if you were worried that this was a bad thing, be assured none of the money from this will be allowed to be allocated towards abortions. It will be used for health screenings and contraceptives to those that can not afford them. People can’t control if they get cancer or if their partner lied to them about being clean. I am so glad they can’t be denied help if they need it.
If you don’t like Huffington Post there are many other articles out there that explain the breakdown as well. I encourage you to read them.
Good News #2: The ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) has raised almost a million dollars since the election results came out. The ACLU covers so much; from disability rights to immigrant to racial and LGBTQ+. People care about others and are donating to help. Be encouraged by this.
Good News #3: There were a number of women elected in various positions. I’ve read many good things about all of them and am excited to see what they can bring.
Remember.

OUT. Temporary haitus while I try and get ready for DragonCon and a trip to LA. I promise I haven’t abandoned these accounts. I’ve just been really busy with summer ending and people leaving at my work that I haven’t had much time for RP. I’ve done a bit over on my Marvel blog but even that has been mostly pretty limited to redoing some tags and maybe a few long overdue replies.
I’ll be back soon. Sorry for the long waits. I miss you all!
I’m always on my skype which is available upon request so feel free to hit me up for it.

your relationship with + harriscnwclls :3
send me “your relationship with” + a url and my muse will talk about their relationship with that particular muse.
[ :P I should have known you’d send this in haha]
Jesse loves and respects her dad (most days). It’s been just the two of them for so long that normally they are like a well oiled machine. With all the stress and changes that have been happening lately Jesse has tried to move a little away from her father’s name in this new Earth but not away from her dad. She may have run away a few months ago but when her dad needs her she was there in a heartbeat.  There is no one Jesse cares more about in this world that her dad. She would do anything for him.
She is so happy that he has finally found some people he truly cares about besides for her. She may have been a bit jealous before of his new found ‘kids’ but she actually is glad there are other people to watch out for her dad and stop him from taking stupid risks. She isn’t sure what she would do without him.
