I made another pack!

Still pwyw, but every bit helps.

This one is a bunch of scans of brayer cleanup from printmaking, so lots of wild blends of ink. Some are pretty enough to be art on their own, tbh.

Very grungy, and works great as a texture resource for layering.

Ugh, my most recent mold failed. I used a few chunks of silicone as filler like I usually do, but somehow the silicone not only didn’t adhere this time, but also actively caused cure inhibition.

…it’s cured chunks of the same silicone I just used for the mold. ._.

And I’m over here being additionally salty because this is going to make silicone so goddamn expensive when it’s already more expensive than my casting materials half the time.

This is a show of mine that went up at a local art gallery on the 3rd of this month, and I’ll be up for display until the end of February.

I’m going to try to make posts related to the show as I’m frankly terrible at announcing my presence online these days.

My opening reception on the 3rd was a huge success, and I sold most of my small pieces day of. I’m absolutely going to make more Blessings and Portents going forward, and I’ll try harder to share that online, too. Ffff

Ordinarily one of the easiest ways to tell a mage in animal form apart from a shifter, is that all shifters have tells. Most mages transform fairly flawlessly, and errors are made out of lack of knowledge, rather than any other inclination.

Elevar, in any form he takes, has tells unless he takes great care not to. Whether it is a personal quirk, a result of his latent fae bloodline, or due to his heritage on his mother's side is difficult to say...

So um, I finished the carson ref from forever ago, sort of. By which I mean, I drew things then never finished it in to a full ref.

But I slapped it + a quick ref for Benjamin together for Artfight at least! (They'll get prettied up full refs later, I suppose.)

canonical facial appearance, I guess. That feels weird to finally grant a character that's over 10 years old. Boyo is finally getting a ref.

oh yeah and also since S6 just shat the bed ROYALLY, I'd love recommendations for a new print on demand service that's actually not garbage?

Or... uh... manufacturer suggestions for... things... in general. I don't know. I'm not quite at the stage I can order things like apparel from a manufacturer and be assured things will sell. Charms I might be safe on?

Prints I can get locally but they can't do fancier print options like foiling, so I'd love that.

So I'm

very sick right now.

I kinda vanished during the final 3 month crunch of the show prep anyway, and I was expecting to collapse due to burnout but I uh...

haven't been able to work in 2 weeks and it's a good day if I'm conscious for an unbroken 4 hrs sick rn.

It hurts to breathe and my insides are full of glue. ( ձ ̥̥̥ ﾍ ձ ̥̥̥ )

Solo show is up and has been very successful! I made one of Glasstire's top 5's! (and I'm really hoping some of the work I made will sell as it was very expensive to produce ahahaha)

I have some pictures of the show i'll post soon, and hopefully more in depth pictures of some of the stuff I did to follow, but it highly depends on my health.

Is it covid? Dunno! Hope not! I've tested negative twice but WHOOOOO KNOWS

I last had covid in August of 2020 and it hit me about the same way then, almost entirely unconscious for a week straight etc, but I definitely recovered faster than whatever this is, and the pain when breathing + gluey phlegm feels more like the nightmarish chest infection I got that hospitalized me around this time year before last.

So I don't know.

Uhh send good vibes or energy or prayers or w/e y'all do my way I guess.

I just got a bunch of new followers, so this seems like a good time to re-warn people :

There is 0 consistency with anything I post. I do a lot of illustration, but I also do all forms of mixed media and resin art, as well as 3d stuff. And I mean a LOT of resin stuff. I love illustration, but jewelry sure is my primary income.

I’m currently preparing for a solo show in November, so there is about to be a L OT of textile / sewing stuff. Like. Everywhere.

This show will involve a lot of bugs in quilted, friendly form, so there’s that! I generally tag things but sometimes I get tired and just slap it up here.

Also I tend to pick one character to fixate on for a year or two and draw way too much of them.
