Dom, what advice would you give someone who has just entered their twenties? What should i expect from this fresh chapter in my life

Biggest advice is don’t compare yourself to others. Fortify internally and give yourself permission to explore, play, and walk your own path. Eat whole foods as much as you can and stay away from heavy use of substances that kill your intuition. Believe in your competence and trust yourself more than anyone else. Work on not needing validation from toxic parents/friends/lovers. Work on not needing validation from great parents/friends/lovers. But express gratitude for validation when it comes. If you can’t love yourself yet, be empathetic at least and start smiling in the mirror. Allow yourself to make self-directed decisions without focusing on what’s right/wrong (in terms of jobs, leaving things, etc). The illusion of security can really keep you stuck at this age, sometimes you have to learn to laugh as you free-fall and see rock bottom as a blessing. Kill the inner tyrant in your head. Work towards a worldview in which all circumstances are malleable. Help as much as you can, even when it’s a little embarrassing. Ask for help even when it’s very embarrassing. Recognize the power that you have to alter your externals, and don’t beat yourself up for the times when you get kicked down by life, bc you will be Lol. Accept your face, your body, your proportions, your lips, your teeth, your laugh, your legs, your ass, and don’t make enjoyment conditional on any of these factors. Don’t wait on the perfect hairstyle or the most energetic days. Get rid of the internalized end-goal. Everything is a lifelong process. Let go of all expectations and try to give your heart what it wants. That being said, remember that limitation is the first step to manifestation. Structure allows for more freedom just as technique allows for more imagination. Start now on inner child work, yoga, and mindfulness. It’s not something to dabble in, it’s the way to knowing what you want out of life. Dream big but know why you’re dreaming. I’m rooting for you, sending you love, you will be an incredible adult!
