Ja ciebie też, my dear Chip. Apologies for my late response. I do indeed know her. I have talked to her both in her life and death. We would discuss music matters, mostly, but she would sometimes relay to me other details about her life. In turn, I was able to compose through her corporeal form. I told her the notes I wanted and pushed her hands on to the right keys, then she found how the music flowed and wrote it down.

A LETTER OF LOVE well...this year,ill do something different. no cake,no draws,no gifts...only the deep love i fell for you. 06\13\2023..the day i fell in love with you,not only your body,but your soul,your personality,your tender hands that imbraced me when I needed. I do still remember how much I cried for you,the urge of looking at you sweet eyes and say "kocham cię mój kochanie..". I want to thank you for being with me,for teaching me how to be myself,how to love again,how to be devoted to someone,to fell alive,to cry,to laugh...but more important...I have something (or someone) to give me hope and peace for my poor little heart that's always struggling with the life. #StopChopinUwUfication is a movement dedicated to stopping the UwUfication of classical composer Fryderyk Franciszek Chopin.

Q&A:

What is UwUfication?

Who is Fryderyk Chopin?

Why is he UwUfied?

Chopin was a sickly man who died fairly young, suffered from depression in his later years and hated doing concerts because of public appearance. He also composed lots of music considered "sad". Because of this people treat him like an anime character, or also said "shy emo uwu boi". This is very far from the truth.

First, he wasn't a good person:

- He was very anti-semitic and xenophobic

- He was jealous

- He was spitful

- He was petulant

- He was cold with his friends

- He was immature

- He constantly criticized others

- He was toxic

And he knew it:

"It is not my fault if I am like a mushroom which seems edible but which poisons you if you pick it and taste it, taking it to be something else–"

Here are some misconceptions about Chopin:

1. That he was shy. Chopin was not shy. He did indeed hate and fear performing in public, but this doesn't mean he was shy; it means he had non-generalized social anxiety, which is different. Chopin did very well in interpersonal relationships, he was actually quite popular as a teenager.

2. That he constantly acted depressed. Chopin had more irritability than depression throughout his life, he mainly became depressed at the end. He actually performed comedy a lot, even when depressed.

The goal of our movement is to stop the UwUfication of Chopin, UwUfication which includes:

- Portraying Chopin as a weak, shy, inward guy

- Making Chopin x Liszt shipart

- Fanart that yassifies Chopin

- Anything that worships Chopin and demonizes Liszt

While this movement is targeted at Chopin, it is also against the UwUfication and fetishization of other of other composers like Mozart and Beethoven among others.

(just to contextualize: my birthday was 3 days ago)

Of course mon chéri and happy birthday! The owner of the keyboard that I’ve hijacked will be in a similar position imminently, so know that you are not alone. I hope my rambling can help in some way.

I too felt the same way when I was younger. But I think growing up holds less importance as you get older, particularly once you’ve passed to the next realm! I try not to think about it.

All I can say is don’t waste your time worrying about expectations. What you should or shouldn’t yet be doing at a certain age, what you have already done… Everything will come at the right time for you. For instance, I was playing at concerts and composing music from a very early age. But I didn’t have what one considers a ‘normal job’ — teaching students — until I was 22. Similarly, I had made a legacy for myself by my 30s, yet I have no direct descendants — I never married or had children of my own. Don’t compare yourself to others, follow your own path.

With age, you settle into your mind and body, and you learn to ride the bumps in the road. Enjoy life as it comes. I was very preoccupied with my own mortality when I was alive, for obvious reasons… And the time I wasted dwelling on that, could have been spent more happily. So again, release yourself of expectations, of the fear of passing time, and seize the day! And, should you not have the energy or willpower to ‘seize the day’, know that it is your body maintaining its reserves for when you can once more.

Ageing has been, on many occasions, my worst fear. But it is a natural process, just like eating or sleeping, and should be respected as such. Give yourself time to accept change, and better yet, celebrate it!

sometimes I can still fell his weight on my lap or my chest, and hear his purr..my poor boy baki..passed away in such a slow and painfull way.. (he was poisoned by an neighbor so..he took 2 weeks to die,it was so sad to see such a lively cat turning even more sick each day that past)

I liked to read and play games, read poetry and literature, write plays as part of mine and Emilka's Literary and Entertainment Society, play chess, ice skate, I drew sometimes too. I had several friends, including Tytus, Dom and my two Jans.

I played and composed from a very young age. I would cry when I heard the sound of music — I was quite sensitive, both physically and emotionally. I was sick often, and had to go on wellness retreats to Szafarnia in 1824 and Duszniki in 1826.

But I was also mischievous and loved having fun. For instance, I remember my friends and I used to play tricks on our English teacher and mess around in class.

As for pets, I have had a few. I once had a brown and white little puppy called Mops. And George and I later had two dogs named Marquis and Dib. Marquis inspired me to write the Minute Waltz!
