Ok, Luigi has every right to look upset.
But Mario looks like he wants to skin Bowser alive and throw him in acid.

The fact I'm seeing people on Twitter being so livid over the fact that otome games is a genre that prioritizes female MCs over male MCs and caters to women in general baffles me.
#chipster rambles#I'm legit surprised that there are people out there that want a male MC in a maiden game instead of a galge or BL#You have male MCs in those genres and yet some people act like it's the end of the world because a female-centric game has a female MC

I think the most humiliating object in the world is the Fleshlight sleeve warmer
Its only purpose is to slide into your fleshlight and get it to body temp. It's $30. I want to get every single man who owns one of these into one room and make them do long-form improv

Kuudere and Dandere: Similar or Different?
The dere archetype is a unique archetype due to a number of variations with the most notable are the tsundere, yandere, kuudere, and dandere. While tsunderes and yanderes are the "golden" dere archetypes, kuuderes and danderes are the "silver" dere archetypes due to being fairly well-known from characters such as Sakura Matou or Kanade Tachibana.
However, it seems as though people have mixed the two dere types as interchangeable which begs the question: are they similar or different to each other?
Let's go over what our featured dere types via Wikipedia:
Kuuderes are described as archetypes who appear stoic, calm, and emotionless. The Kuu (クー) is taken from the word Kūru (クール) which translates to 'cool'.
Danderes are described as archetypes who appear quiet and asocial. The Dan (ダン) is taken from the word Danmari (黙り) which translates to 'silence'.
From this piece of information, both the kuudere and dandere are a bit introverted than the yandere or even deredere; however it provides an interesting detail about these two. They share a common ground of being quiet individuals until they show their loving side towards their partner. Does that mean they are similar? Yes and no.
They are similar in terms of how they act on the outside however how they act when expressing their dere side is different. Kuuderes gradually show their dere side over time as a way to "melt the ice" of their cold or unfeeling exterior whereas the danderes become more talkative and affectionate once they're alone with the person they've become comfortable with due to their internal shyness.
Additionally, kuuderes are usually associated with indifference and emotional coldness along with the notion that these are applied by choice as they believe they're confident enough to keep their emotions in check. Dandere, on the other hand, don't do this by choice as it's a interpersonal struggle due to not being good at communication.
Likewise, danderes are often mixed up with another dere type that people are very familiar with yet didn't know its name: Hajidere. Hajideres are described as archetypes who a very/openly shy, timid, or even bashful. The Haji (ハジ) is taken from the word Hajirau (恥じらう) which translates to 'to feel shy or embarrassed/bashful/blush'.

Sometimes, talking about that damn pink hedgehog within the game's continuity feels exhausting now because I feel like if I mention that I want to see that spunky side of her despite the gags she had with Sonic during the Dark Age, I'd probably get people assuming I want her flanderized self to which I DON'T WANT.
Now, I'm kind of praying SEGA should keep doubling down her characterization in the future and make people accept the current iteration is Amy now.

Looks like some people within the fandom are mad that their eldrich horror/villain headcanon wasn't made canon and don't wanna face the fact that Columbia might be the moon goddess (or one of the moon sisters) that left the Fatui Harbingers for her homeland (and possibly for the Frostmoon Scions).
Honestly not surprising it's coming from a fandom where it seems like headcanons are considered "factual". Guess the honeymoon phase of Nod-Krai ran short as I expected since they were so quick on giving it a positive reception during the late 5.X run.
