Thank you for sticking around during this process! Character designs will change and aren’t completely cannon as of now but the lore is basically finalized!

I wanted to add that the new and old character designs are still not completely cannon and will most likely be updated to look differently sometime soon!

Gaster will be getting a character design sheet soon as well, regardless if the design will be cannon or not! (Grillby and others will get character designs soon as well.)

Should Asgore and Gaster have had a secret forbidden romance? Where Asgore was still married to Toriel, and both Gaster and Asgore denied their feelings for each other? Gaster fell for Asgore first and Asgore fell harder, or the other way around? This romance would take place before Gaster falls into his creation (the void) after killing the queen.

The lore for UnderSCIPHY won't change, the only difference to the story would be that they had a secret romance in the past before Gaster was scattered across space and time!

Once upon a time,

A mystery man with an ambition for something greater than himself sought the king and queen's approval in making a new weapon that would advance the monster kinds arsenal.

The A.R. SOUL.

The queen hastily shunned the man of his aspiring plea.

Days following, the queen had been found dead and the mystery man had disappeared without a trace, leaving behind his project in the hands and mind of another.

The king oblivious of the man he once knew before had come up with an “idea”, one that wasn't his own.

He gathered two of his most trusting of royal scientists to enact “his” ambitious idea.

Soon after, “his” idea started to circulate with his people.

Many of his people were unsure of how to feel about “his” idea, and some started to question whether the king was responsible for the death of the queen.

He denied them any answer to their concerns and with this, his rule became tainted and almost laughable.

I also wanted to add that I'm starting to see UnderSCIPHY (Undertale AU) as a project that's made just for the fun of it!

Nothing too serious

The story is coming together slowly though still.

I almost think making a QNA could be a good way of sharing more about the lore/story when it is finalized.

I also plan to make a complete blog post with all the character designs and their finalized designs so that's something that will hopefully come soon.
