and when you and spencer do argue, you flinch, like your scared he'd hit you. not because he was being aggressive, but arguing in your head leads towards a pattern, a pattern that spencer would never follow. as soon as he catches a glimpse of you twitching, he stops in his tracks, shaking his head, holding back tears, immideatly pulling you close. mumbling "dont think i'd ever hurt you. im not that kind of person. i love you."

though most times its just sweet silly stuff, joking around, listening to music, reading together, baking, and, forcing him to go on late night trips with you to the bathroom to pee because your terrified of the dark.

and spencer never lets you think that you're not enough, let alone too much for him. or anyone. if you even dare to mutter a string of apologies for being you, he's shutting all of it down immediately.
