Man what can I say about this!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! Super stoked and excited that my friend and @tuffwraps teammate @irregular_strength big Julius just set the American RAW bench record 723.1 pounds!!!!! This puts him NUMBER 2 in the world of all time raw bench press. Júlíus on his third attempt went to try and break the world record which was 739 lb but he just missed the lockout!! I have no doubt in my mind he will be the number 1 raw bench presser in the world soon enough!! Heavy back training: 200lb dumbbell row. Notice how I’m still in control of the weight even with a little explosiveness. I’m still getting a full range of motion and a good squeeze at the top. #throwback to 2009 first #NPC show I ever did. I was 182lb I think 🤔. Won the light heavy weight class. I posed to the OG Mega Man 3 intro song for NES. Lol yes I’m a bit of a #videogame #nerd lol this prep was so fun and stressful. I was Interning 30-40 hours of week and had classes at college. I worked security at a nightclub so I had money and to top it off my peak week was the same week as all my finals. Managed to juggle it all.
