Valstrax is done.

It was an absolute blast working on #GuardiansoftheGalaxyVol3 ! Definitely one of the most fun and fulfilling projects I had the privilege to work on. I may be biased, but this is my favorite Phase 4-5 Marvel movie! Heh heh!

Here is a buuuuuuuuuunch of stuff I did for @/quaiizar’s character Blackbird. They’re on Instagram, go give them a follow cause they do such amazing stuff like AMAZING!

I’ll create a post chronicling the creation of this model at a later time. For now, these are some select renders I’ve done featuring him, I hope you enjoy! This is still an ongoing project and just to give a little background on the making of... the model was created in Maya, surfaced and textured in Substance Painter, the jet trail was created and rendered in Houdini, ocean sim done in Maya, the base animation was all rendered and lit using Redshift, then all put together in After Effects.

Vis Dev of Triton’s design. I used Krita to create this one, maybe I should revisit that program since all the other ones are on fire right now.

Recent art commission I completed for Agnaktor on Discord. No Clacks! Apparently this was a difficult fight in the older Monster Hunter games, but I haven’t had the (dis)pleasure. Was he really that bad?

This is the full painting of Triton I was noodling around with. I’ve chosen to pause this painting so I can focus on getting the design more to my liking.

This is a character I’m working on, his name is Triton and he’s an anthropomorphic Philippine Eagle. I’ve done a painting of him previously but I didn’t like the anatomy so this is a redraw of it.

Even still, I’ll likely continue to fiddle around with it cause I’m still not pleased with the result... yet I keep changing it cause I keep adding on moocles. I am not sorry.

Harpy character guy, he is all feathers and I love him for it. He doesn’t really have a name yet, he’s just kinda vibing y’know. I imagine all of your back and shoulder muscles would be sore from all the vibing.
