I remember that you posted art of a spidertaur once. Probably to Twitter. I think her name might’ve started with a C. It made me think about what kind of homes and furniture arachne sort of characters might have.

I like to think she makes much of her furniture herself. I imagine her home would be one that felt a little like defying gravity, with things at odd angles or hanging from the ceiling. One thing I do know for certain is she has hammocks. Everywhere

Thank you!! I've been thinking about him a lot lately... The sketch I posted was def on the more extreme side but, I like to think that in general gaining weight is a form of healing for him. Indulging in the things that he was denied as a teenager finally getting to as an adult I think he would view it as a separation from his father, also. An entirely different image from the strict iron ideals and fascist enterprise. I imagine him being very proper about it too- making sure he doesn't overdo it publicly, always being very clean and presentable, even when his mobility is challenged by his size... and then just going Wild in private behind locked doors, allowing himself the hedonism he restrained all day.

I feel like your art would have a heavy, comforting taste to it. Mayhaps a well made cake, or a pudding, fraught with flavors evocative of fall. It’d stick to your tongue, your throat, it’d last, and it’d fill. Cinnamon, maple, caramel. Apple, maybe. There’s warmth to it, a calming lull. And yet cheerful, so alive.

If I had to be specific though, I’d say butter bars. Gooey, sweet. They certainly hold a festive sort of sentiment. They’re sweet enough to sicken and yet they leave you wanting to eat the lot. Isn’t that the spirit of indulgence?

This is to say that I love your art. I’ve honestly learned so much about portraying heavier bodies because of you.
