anyways, rules are simple.. simply make a messy/rough sketch on what you think the cover should look like, ofc make the sketch readable or else I won't know what mythical incantation ur gonna write on the walls of that thing...

If I like ur rough sketch, I'll use it to make the cover for the book, mention u on the synopsis or even shove ur oc into one of the story bits if I'm generous enough, that's all!!

So, I use a bunch of basic shapes, more often seen in my wips is just random jagged and undefined polygons to make the base shape... and then I so lovingly deviate from the guidelines I prepared for myself and then just do a little something I'd like to call... rendering it too little/too much

for the hand part, either you can study hand anatomy and things, or just... be oddly into hands... cough

So basically without all the extra sci-fi-ic genre I was going to lodge into my AU's world-building, I finally realized that it's all too much for a one man band artist such as myself,

From the shortcomings of my former worldbuild, Rescripted will now be very much based on the characters inserted into LMK (and canon ones??) - trying to cling on to the mundane safe holdings in life, all while random bullshit (and destiny-tragedies) try to rain on their parade...

first 2 victims of such unfortunate circumstances, the duo ya see right here!!

- They just got back from getting their asses kicked by the power of mystic monkey magic and friendship (Mk and the gang ahhh mention)

What color and blending mode did you use to render?

... Huh???

Uh, in terms of lego-typa rendering, I just use what the animators used, purple hues for the multiply/shade layer and uh, the white on overlay

When regular, I either get really lazy and just use dark orange or I literally handpick every single color in the piece, drop a darker color to slightly draw along the shaded part and then, white on add... did that cover it?

Rescripted:Au is going to be ongoing process of "revising" once again, some elements might be removed from the AU to "shorten potential too deep lore analysis problems" as I cannot catch up with shit
