Artistic Autumn Day 40: Trying out a different pose This one has a lot of work still to go but I thought I'd start it. Not a lot of motivation to draw today but still put pen to paper (so to speak)

Artistic Autumn Day 39: Original elf again Tried to do some shading tonight. He's looking better. I'm not in a very good mindset for good self criticism so I don't know if it looks okay or not great or anything really. It is what it is. If you have any tips for improvement I'd love to hear it :)

Artistic Autumn Day 38: DnD Elf with evil spirit For this character I wanted him to have an evil spirit that was trapped within him and tries to make him do evil things. I messed around with filters and blurs and I kinda like the effect I stumbled upon.

Artistic Autumn Day 37: Original Elf again I tried to draw it again and adjust the line weighting. I don't know if it looks better or not. But it was a good experiment to try at least.

For anyone who is even mildly interested in my journey of improving and working on art every day. There may be a big drop in quality coming from me. With questionable decision making I've decided to take on language classes for 3 hours every week day in addition to a full time job. It's essentially working 12 hours a day and it might destroy me. I'm going to try my hardest to continue doing art, but if I stop posting. You know why

Artistic Autumn Day 36: Original elf character I'm trying to build up the concept for my latest DnD creation. Figured I'd give it a crack. I'm using some references and did lots of research about where I wanna take this piece. I still hate my line work. would it look better if the pen was more solid? I feel like I'm getting gray colors in my line art too often and it might just be because I'm pressing softly and the black isn't even coming through?

Artistic Autumn Day 35: Inktober prompt 5 (Build) Didn't get time to finish it today and spent a lot of time thinking up the concept. I wanted to show how tears are a building block for the healing process. He is crying but the tears are filling up the symbol of the Greek God of Healing. (Not inked yet)

Artistic Autumn Day 34: Female forms (referenced) This time I did females with a reference, but not traced! I'm actually pretty happy with how these turned out. I thought I'd have a lot more trouble with the females but I ended up struggling more with male forms.

Artistic Autumn Day 33: Male forms (referenced) This time I tried doing male forms using a reference. It was pretty tough! They look okay but I know they could be better. I find it difficult to understand 'how' they could be better but I suppose it all comes with practice.
