So long, and thanks for all the memories!

((Hey everyone! Sora here with a really big announcement: 

((I’m officially retiring from RPing on Tumblr.

((I know this may come as a big shock to some of you, but I’ve been giving this some thought for a while now. I remember I used to tell myself that there would eventually be a point where I stopped RPing on Tumblr, and I guess that day has finally come. I just really haven’t had the motivation to return and do stuff with any of my blogs as I’ve been caught up with other things in life. Work keeps me busy on the weekdays, and my games do the same on weekends. And admittedly, Tumblr has stressed me out from time to time in the years I was on here with keeping up with threads and asks and whatnot, so I think ultimately this is the best way forward for me.

((To all those that I have met, from my very first RP partners to those more recent to those that I’ve barely reached out to, thank you so so much for your support, kindness, and friendship. I’ve made lots of great memories while being on this site, and I’ve definitely made some lifelong friends here. I can’t put into words how much I’m grateful to have been a part of your roleplay community. It’s had its ups and downs, but it’s been a fun ride through and through. But now, it’s time for me to move on.

((But! This isn’t the end of me roleplaying. I’m far from done doing so, and I would love to continue being able to do so. For now, all my blogs will be archived, not outright deleted. There are still some fun posts there that I don’t have the heart to wipe out right away. But as I will no longer be active on Tumblr, if you still wish to continue chatting and roleplaying with me, you can continue to do so on my Discord! I’ll still keep Tumblr IMs and my askbox open for a while longer so I can give you my Discord tag. I know a majority of you already have me on Discord, but for those that don’t, you can catch me there!

Achilles pauses for a moment on the ground as he feels Gabs sit on his back. He chuckled a little to himself before returning to his 3rd set of 100 push-ups, starting his 50th one. This was nothing for him, really. In fact, he quite enjoyed moments like this with her, just spending time with each other.

"What book are you reading, Master?" Achilles asked her as he seamlessly went up and down. "I'm not...disturbing your reading, am I?"

Mad grin only spread all the wider at the other’s eager acceptance of their challenge, holy blade glinting in the light as they took the briefest moment to center themselves. Some thrill ran up them, as if fighting the other was like getting the rematch they so eagerly wanted. That feeling could wait, however, as they charged forward, mana cascading off them like a cloak of crimson flame.

“I was gonna say th’ same to you!”

A billowing flame erupted from their blade, swinging upwards as a vertical torrent of fire burst forward with their approach. They hoped to cover their route to the side of the other, one hand on the hilt of their blade as the other was poised to plant the back of their first to Rider’s cheek. 

The Berserker wasted no time with the first strike. They charged forward, sword in hand, with a fiery blaze, ready to get this fight started. The Rider reacted by sidestepping to the right and raised his spear to block the Berserker’s gauntlet headed straight for his face. Achilles stood his ground and planted his feet firmly in, bracing himself from the force of the backhanded strike. Oh, this was a fight now! He grinned in delight seeing his opponent’s power in full display.

“Now we’re talking!” the Rider exclaimed. He had no more words to speak with his mouth. But he had plenty more to speak out with his fists, his spear. Achilles leapt back to create some distance between him and the Berserker. Gripping his spear with both hands, he aimed the tip straight at his opponent. With a burst of mana, Achilles then leapt forward with incredible speed, intending to drive his spear through the Berserker.

The Lancer stood unperturbed by the Berserker’s menacing presence. To him, this was just another foe for him to defeat. In the name of preserving humanity.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath as he stared down the manic, frenzied beast in front of him.

“Investigating? But that’s really boring! Don’t you see how many bodies there are to chop up? With our mist they don’t even see us coming! We can chop up every single person here without them even fighting back! We’ve chopped up so many servants while here! Why don’t you help us out?”

A giggle as she brought her knife down, deciding to trust the Caster for now. Even if it would feel so nice to chop him up right here! The angry look on his face as the color drains from his face, the red pouring out him matching his eyes. It’d be amazing! But she has enough targets, so no point attacking those who aren’t hurting her

“So what’re you trying to investigate? We don’t think that you’ll find much just by walking around. Are you suuuure you’re not just looking for somebody to kill? You’d probably stab them full of holes with all your weird weapons, right?”

She hadn’t been on the island long, but she had a madness enchantment normally, and her mental state was atrocious more often than not, so it seemed like the island really hit her hard. She was letting loose and loving every second of it.

“These dead bodies are part of what I am investigating,” the Caster replied tersely, avoiding addressing the clearly manic state the child was in. She had even admitted to killing some of these people that he had seen lying dead on the ground. Gilgamesh wasn’t too surprised at Jack’s statement, but judging from her gleeful and euphoric state, even this seemed a bit...much for her.

“If it comes down to that, you’ll be the first to know,” Gilgamesh replied to Jack’s last statement about his “weird weapons”. “But I would prefer not to stain them with blood in the first place.” He strolled down further as he took more mental notes of his surroundings. There was undoubtedly something off about this place, that much was crystal clear. The next question, then, was to locate its source.

Gilgamesh turned his head towards Jack the Ripper, beckoning her to come with him without another word. Having another pair of eyes to aid him would help, even if she wasn’t exactly sane.

「Can I brush your hair, maybe braid it too?」 The question was asked after they both had gotten out of the bath, which, granted not much bathing was done but in the end there was still some washing. And Mukuro was feeling a bit affectionate afterwards and perhaps it was because of how exhausted the bath had made her, Mukuro was a little bit more honest with her feelings. ( @ medb!~ )

The couple loved to relax in each other's arms every night in the bath, and that always left the both of them rather exhausted. Medb, deep down, appreciated these intimate moments together, and only recently has she started acting more softly around Mukuro. Her haughty, queenly persona gave way to a gentler, more vulnerable side of her. With her around, Medb slowly grew more comfortable acting like this, and she trusted that only Mukuro would get to see this.

"Oh, do as you please then," replied the queen to her request. She sat down on the bed and patted the spot next to her with one hand. She flipped her pink locks with her other hand, letting it shimmer in the soft light of their bedroom. "Make sure it looks good on me...Mukuro~" she said, letting her name roll off her tongue so smoothly.
