He waits a long long time for Lucanis to understand in the Ossuary, to trust him. Only together will they be able to escape this new, terrible thing called “space.”

And this fragile human is not the partner he would have chosen either. Lucanis is slow, bound by such things as “physics” and “hunger” and “pain.”

But Spite likes the human too. Lucanis is determined and ruthless when it comes to survival, to achieving goals.

The first time they work together, the human does not even flinch at the wings that sprout from the lash marks on his back. They manage to kill five guards before they are subdued. And Spite dares to be hopeful

But that is the first in a long series of near misses, and last minute failures. And before Rook comes like a glimpse of fade, boundless, he has truly become Spite.

He, they, are not certain what they survive for now. Freedom? Coffee? Caterina? Treviso? Revenge?

It doesn’t matter. All that matters is the next breath, the next wash of warm blood over their knife blade.

But then Rook takes them up, and out. And Spite sees the sky. He feels Lucanis’s body go breathless with his own shock.

The sky is an endless blanket of stars.

And Spite realizes he does not really understand what space is yet.

Not at all.

Hey yall, so I have been struggling a lot lately to post to any social medias lately, for a lot of reasons but I know I struggle to stay consistent with everything. Social medias are hard to navigate if yiu haven't been doing it every day since you were in middle school and haven't stopped. Right after graduation I was at the top of my game, but now I struggle so hard.

I dont use twitter/X, nor do I use Instagram so I dont ever really know what the best platforms to post on are.

Hi every-bunni!! I wanted to come on here and let yall know I've been under the weather, so videos will be slow or non existent till I recover fully, but I have some exciting news to share with yall!!!

I FINALLY landed a job, and i start soon, but with this means we'll be entering an adjustment period for my posting schedule, as I mentioned in my last video.

It's part time, but the hours may fluctuate so I might be more busy in a week or only work 3 days out of the week so I'll be making a weekly schedule to post in the beginning of each week to let yall know what I've got going on, but be patient with me as these things take time.
