-CAPTER FIVE: don’t avoid me

You and soul were on your guys' way to have lunch with your friends as you always did on Saturday's. When you made it to the end of the street You told soul to grab your phone to play some music” soul put my phone on the aux and play ' it's you’ by Ateez.”

He looked down to grab your phone, but he did not see it, so he started looking around everywhere. He checked on the sides of the seats, but he still did not see it “hey um y/n I don't see your phone anywhere.” He kept looking around but still did not find it. You checked around you too because maybe you dropped it on the sides of you, but you could not see it nowhere. You looked up and tilted your head to the right a little while looking at soul with a tiny shy small letting out small giggles and playing with your fingers "Um so you know like you know umm I may have left my phone on the counter but like you know I'm just saying. I think we should go back to my house to you know get it.” He just stared at you for a couple seconds with a blank expression continuously blinking at you “y/n you're so dramatic all you had to say was that your phone was left on the counter your lucky that I like your dramatic ness.”

He turned the car back around and headed straight to the apartments once he got there you both got out the car “why are you getting out of the car?” He looked at your confused face ad kept walking but as he did, he said ”when we pulled back up, I seen a face that looked like a friend of my brothers and the face I seen is supposed to be out in LA because he also models with him.” You looked at him and did an understanding nod. You both walked to the elevator and when you were walking you heard soul yell “Jake what the hell are you doing out here I knew I seen you ask her I was just telling her I seen a familiar face.” The boy says as he walks up and hugs the same heighted figure in front of you. Jake the looks passed Soul and looks straight at you he then nods his head over towards you and he says something to Soul (”is that your girl”) but you could not hear because they were a little distant from you. His question was obvious because all you could hear was Souls loud mouth yelling ”WHAT NO she's old I'm not and I don’t date noonas because I wanna be called oppa” as he nudges Jakes arm with his elbow and jake just smiles at him and says “once you turn 20 you’ll know that being called oppa Isn't the nickname you’ll want your girl to call you. I mean I know I did not and still do not want to be called that it makes me feel saurrrrrr old.”

He then wraps his arm around Souls shoulders and walks over to you ”aren’t you going to introduce me to your friend.” You look up at him and tilt your head again for the second time within the last 30 minutes “I can introduce myself” you say. He then raises his eyebrows and leans down to reach your face level and as he does so he flicks his finger under your chin and says ”but you still have yet to do so princess.” You look him up and down ”flirting with me and you jest met me a few minutes ago typical model fuck boy behavior.” He looks at you with a confused face ”hey darling I'm just being nice there's already somebody out here that I want and I'm simply waiting to randomly bump into her.” You look at him with crossed arms ”sooooo you have never met this girl before, but you already like her. He looks at you and nods his head “but it’s not only that we have chatted in somebody comments a little but anyway off of my little love story you have yet to tell me your name Hun.” Your body jolts a little as you remember you never gave him your name ”oh yeah sorry I forgot the names y/n, y/n l/n.” Jake puts his eyes brows up ”it looks like you can help me find my mysterious girl.” You look at Jake confused ”how can I do that?” He looks at you “well you see me, and the girl chatted threw your comments which I see her moment on a lot I assume she's your friend.” Realization hits you ”ohhhh you're that little weirdo who kept coming onto my friend in MY comment section.” He just nods then you add on saying ”well me and Soul were actually on our way to see her now do you want to come with we only came back to grab my phone.” He then says” oh um you should let Soul go grab it I want to have some adult talk with you.”

SOULS POV: “Y/n give me the key now so I can get away from here as fast as I can” I say as she reaches in her purse to grab them while laughing at my reaction. I ran to the elevator and pressed our floor and on my way back I saw a familiar tall figure it looked like jay, and he was walking towards me then out walked once more another tall figure who was just slightly taller and had his head down while scrolling on his phone. When I got a better look at the figure behind him who had finally lifted his head it was my big brother “HEESEUNG!” I was so excited when he realized it was me, he smiled and ran up to me and gave me a nice hug. I had truly missed this hug even though it's only been three months, it felt like 4 years. ”I missed you dude you know that right” he says as he giggled and smiled at me ”the only reason I couldn't text you as constantly as I promised was because I was really busy packing with the boys and trying to find the right living space then I seen that your building had one condo available so I brought it” he says. I just stare at him blankly for a sec ”wait don’t tell me you live in 108 not only the biggest living space in this building but also the apartment in between mines and y/ns.” He just looked at me and shrugged the said “well I guess it is now we’ll really be able to spend some brotherly time together.” I nodded my head in agreement with a nervous smile ”well I'll see you later I’m going to meet up with some of my friends oh did Jake tell you he was coming with me because his little I story girl is going to be there.” He looked and nodded his head jay then said ”oh so he’s finally found a way to meet his girl that he's been whining about being so fine and cool to talk to.” I nod “well I'll see you guys later especially you hee” Heeseung looked at me and laughed while saying “you sure will” and continued to his route. END OF POV

Me and Jake were now in the car talking about all the types of kinks my best friend has and I also gave hm the scoop on how Theo had been flirting with her lately and all he said was ”I wouldn’t need to win her with m flirting skill which are a 100/10 just in case ya care but my handsome face and beautiful persona is enough to make her heart skip 1000 beats. Well, I think I already won by the way she spoke to me in those comments.” I nodded my head, agreeing with him and as I looked. At the entrance of our building that's when I seen him the person who I dearly missed but dreaded seeing for the great or good I was doing a great job at not looking his way until jake who was in the passenger seat rolled the window down calling his name ”HEY GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE REAL QUICK FOR A SEC” I looked over at jake as I seen the figure walking towards the car and I knew he would see me because I was in the driver's seat since jake said he didn’t feel like driving and when there's more than two people in the car there's a rule saying the two oldest get the front seat but that's only if the very oldest can drive of course. Heeseung finally got to the car, and I just stared out of my window I had good hope that he wouldn’t know it was me since my body was matured and my hair has highlights in it. Meet my new friend she's cool already and I've only known her for a few minutes I think you’ll definitely love her, and I feel like you might know her since she’s one of your Soulys friends. He then looked over at you “the highlights look familiar but from somewhere else not any of his friends. Um hey do you mind looking at me so I can greet you the right way I don't want to be mean or anything” he says with his hand in the middle of the car. You then gave him your hand then looked at him you acted surprised as if you hadn’t seen him walk out the building “oh it's you I thought he was talking to another friend of his” you take your hand back and look away again. He then tries to tap your shoulder when Soul comes out of the building and knocks on your side of the window to give you your phone.

While looking through the window he sees his brother's body that he didn’t see before “oh um so I see this is how you guys find each other again.” Heeseung goes to say something else to you “hey y-” but he couldn’t finish it because you cut him off “hey soul get in the car they’ve been waiting for a while now for us at the restaurant. Hey, do you mind backing your body up out of the car so we can get to our friends.” Jake then adds on “add my mistory girl.” Heeseung nods then backs up from the car he then gives all three of you a little wave as you back out and he then walked back to jay. When he got to Jay, he asked him “who and what was that.” Heeseung puts his head down as he says “that was her... that was y/n and she just totally made sure I couldn’t talk to he

FAST FORRWARD TO THE RESTAURANT.

You guys all walked in and spotted lily sitting across from Theo who was trying pick up lines on her because you guys were planning to go to the club later and just spend the time now with Soul since the poor boy is underaged. Jake walks over and sits next to her as you and should sit next to theo. They both look confused on who he is, but he can tell so he introduces himself, but you were not expecting that “hey I'm jake lily's future man” he says as he gives her a big smile. Lily furrows her eyebrows with a small smile “how the hell are you in Korea flirting with me when you were just in LA texting or doing whatever you were doing?” He then looks at her then smiles “I can be anywhere at any time. And do whatever you think I can’t baby girl” the nickname makes Lilly all giggly while you, Theo, and soul just look at each other making all types of disgusted face because what the fuck had you guys just witnessed this continued the whole lunch and by time you guys were leaving it was around three so you guys decided to part ways well not you, soul, and jake because the same building but jake and lily ended up exchanging contact information.

When we all reach the car, we all get in the same way we drove here and on our way back home Jake asked a question that you didn’t really want to answer nut you did because he was an official person of your friend group since everybody approves of him especially LILY. You looked at him while you guys were at a red light the you can see the green light flash so you go. You were still stuck on the question he asked even thought it had been five minutes, five minutes of silence “hey um y/n not to be nosy or anything but what did Soul mean earlier when he said ‘this is how you two meet again’ just kinda wondered” that was the question that left the car ride silent for five minutes. You finally opened your mouth to explain what he meant “well me, Heeseung, and Soul were once a little friend group way before Theo, Lily and Taerae came in the picture. You haven’t met Taerae yet he was busy with family outside of town today maybe next week. But before Heeseung left to LA to do modeling I kept trying to make a move on him. Not forcing or anything but I really liked him so I just really wanted too date him. I asked him out almost everyday one day he finally snapped at me.

He told me ”we can never be more than friends. Like tell me y/n so you not see how bad our age gap looks.” He said that I was way to you and I'm not even legal yet and that I could get him in big trouble. I thought that maybe I had a chance when I became legal but then he told me he doesn’t look at me that kind of way because I'm not his type and he only sees me as his friend and souls best friend.” Jake just looked at you with a sympathetic look he then began to pat your back “hey um I don't think his words were true because he’s dated girls that look like you maybe it really was just because the age gap just so he can get you off his back so you could realize that you needed someone of your own age. Also, you did say something about this begging before he left over seas so that can also be why because he knew you guys would be separated and one thing, I know about my friend is that he’s no good at long distance things.

The only long-distance thing he actually been able to stay on top of is that. Cam girl and I quote his words ”she helps me reach my high faster than any girl I've ever stuck it in and all she does is use her words.” He starts shaking his head as he laughs. At the words of his friends that he just quoted. You look at jake ”hey um do you think there's anything wrong with being a cam person I'm just a little curious?” He looks at you and tilts his head ”of course not I sometimes use them for my own pleasure but the way you asked seems like there's more than you just being curious so what is It?" You look back at soul then back to jake you hesitate to tell him, but you can already tell jakes a trustable guy. You then pull into the parking lot of the building you live in.

You pull your phone from your pocket then pull up your cam girl account then face your phone to jake. ”Um jake this is me right here this is what I do for a living”, you add. Jake claps his hands over his lips as his eyes go wide ”oh my fucking god no fucking way this can’t be you.” You look at him ”is it a bad thing or like have you ever watched me or something because if so, we can still be friends I really don't mind.” Jakes shakes his head then shakes his hands to tell you ”no it's not any of those trust me but um I've got to go it’s gotten really late I won't tell a single soul about this. Make sure to park the car correctly and get in safe I'll see you guys' tomorrow neighbors.” Soul jumps out “hey ill come with you we live next door anyway.” jake just nods his head and signals him to come. When they get in the elevator soul asks jake why'd he have that reaction and jake looks at him. “Yn is the camgirl hee talks to.” Soul just looks at him shocked “I never got to see the username of anything because there's a separate gc the older ones mad to see what her clients say to her.”

Jake was about to continue to talk when he spots you hit the corner of the hallway “alright souly I'll see you later.” Soul understood what he was doing and just waved him bye with a huge smile.” Hey what the hell was up with him we were just fine until I showed him my account.” Soul waves you off ”oh nothing he probably got hard because the first thing use see when you click on your profile is you with your legs wide open that’s also probably why he put his hands over his mouth.” You look at him and nod your head understandingly ”you've got a good point anyway let's go its late and I don’t want you just standing out here so hurry up and go in so I can go to my own apartment.” He laughs then walks in waving you bye as you walk past hee’s apartment a tall figure comes out the door you look up thinking it was Jake but it’s hee. Once you guys made eye contact you put your head back down to stare at your phone,, but he grabs your arm ”hey don’t avoid me please can we go talk?”
