Hi! I just wanted to say that this piece of yours is unequivocally my favorite trigun fanart ever. The way the wings fade behind the panel, the bullets turning into cigs, the looming church and interspersed confetti, the bird carving, the coins fit together, the color scheme, the lit cig in front of the other drug ww takes, we can see one of we’d eyes but Vash stands back with both eyes shielded, holding the cross and, at the center of it all, the couch. I have loved this piece for fucking ever, and wanted to track you down and say this. Thank god for watermarks!!! Have a great day 😊😊😊

AWH thanks for the message! i'm really glad i managed to catch this ask. I absolutely adore when people point out their interpretations of this piece and i really truly love this depiction, trying to simplify all of the *hand wavey and vast* imagery and items tied to this series and these two characters is kind of ridiculously hard to do (as i found out trying to make this piece). I'm glad it's been received so well and so warmly over the last year or so, i'd really hoped the simpler style wouldn't take away the idea it still means something to me or could for other fans, and it means a lot when i hear it's been admired all this time c:
