Surprise comes unexpected.

Never expect to visit this delicate place. Was on my way to Chye Seng Huat hardware Cafe this afternoon. Since it was a public holiday in Singapore, there were full of people. Along the way, I found this place. Instead of trying their signature bun(包), I just ordered red velvet cake and a hot latte as usual to enjoy my alone reading time. The cake is a bit dry but the cream is smoothly good. I like the design of their coffee bar and the spacious room in the shop. Would very much love to come back again for the cozy atmosphere.

found the place via Cafehopping. It’s located on the 2nd floor of the shopping mall. Looks like a combination of furniture design store and cafe. Too bad that I didn’t spend time to venture around then.

Was having brunch with my girl friend when I visited Ergo Sum. We were just randomly wandering around Duxton Hill and decided to stop by and try them out. Still remember how we were amazed by the tasty Spanish-spiced rice!

One of my Taiwanese colleagues, Winston, brought us here. We were here to gather before he went back to Taiwan for his new office job. This cafe is not easy to find. It hide well in the woods, which gives it a great sense of nature. Love the antique decoration very much!

Lowercase Cafe is located at the basement level of LASALLE College of Arts. It obviously is the gathering place for these young talents.

That was a Monday afternoon when me and roommate Kate went out for some nice cafe to chill. Unfortunately, most of the cafes in Singapore are not open on Monday. (lesson learned.) So we were just wandering around Bugis area, trying our luck, when we found this place. I like its huge place and wooden tables and chairs. A good place for gathering-can be as noisy as you like!

Refuel Cafe is located right under a HDB building in Bedok, which I found it very friendly. It’s not spacious, few tables just nice to fulfill the need of caffeine for the neighborhood. Like their brownie with vanilla ice cream!

I was trying to find a nice cafe that I can bring my laptop along to work the whole afternoon. Working Title then came along on the google search results. It’s smaller than I first expected. And much noisier since quite many group of people came by for a short coffee break that day. Yet, the urban atmosphere here is comfortable for me and i like the sofa area at the backyard.

This place is well-known in Singapore and we've been looking forward to visit for quite some time. It was, still is, a cycling warehouse so the cafe is located between bunch of factories. If we didn’t take cab, I don’t think we can find the place ourselves...LOL! Surprisingly, their brunch is so good that I would like to visit again for the scrambled eggs! yum!

Was there to gather with Xin Xin before she went back home to China.

This cafe had been on the top of my to-go list for a while since I saw some pictures taken by my friends. Love their decoration and the food is good. Just the speed of service can be better.
