Oops... || Cinnamon & ???
Okay... No one was around... This was the perfect time to practice her magic skills. Ever since that whole business with magic users and humans, Cinnamon had to prepare herself for the worse. It’s been a while since she last had to use her magic... The only skill she was skilled at was her healing spells, but her others... Not so well. Other magic users would be super impressed, but not according to her. She needed more practice...
An hour passed by and at this time, her energy was running low. But there’s no way she could give up just yet. The pinkette was starting to push her limits, to the point where her marks in her arms began to glow. “... Not good... Enough...” There wasn’t enough!!
Then she heard someone step on a branch. Her hands were quick to point and ready to shoot fire if need be. “Who’s there...?” Cinnamon wasn’t even sure if she had enough energy left to do much about anything... The pinkette was panting and grasping for air, her marks in her arm still glowing yellow in an abnormal way. “Show... Yourself...”

Silent Friends || Kross & Cinnamon
Cinnamon finally had a day off, which she wasn’t too happy about... Working at the library was peaceful, minus some occasions when there are people whispering loudly for no apparent reason. But even during those times, it was still enjoyable. With nothing to do, the pinkette had no other choice but walk around town and see what else she could do to occupy her mind.
She made sure to let Nina know she’ll be back tonight for dinner, if not a bit later, before leaving her apartment. Afterwards came the aimlessly walking around until she found something that was intriguing or just seemed peaceful to sit and read.
None of that crossed her mind when a familiar figure caught her eye in the middle of the town... Cinnamon was quick to identify him as Kross, her high school friend. How long has it been? The silent girl walked up to Kross and tapped his shoulder.
“... Hello...” A faint smile appeared on her face. “It’s... Been a while...”

Nina’s Roommate! || Nina & Cinnamon
Having to live on her own started to become... Too hurtful on her wallet. It was way too expensive, but she will miss her quiet time for sure... Nina wasn’t particularly, well... The quietest. But her company was always welcome, it was a nice refreshing change.
Bringing only a few change of clothes, but a ton of books (most of them are magic books), she walked up to the door and unlocked it with a spare key she was given at the time she signed up to move in. Just in case Nina was inside, she warned ahead of time so she wouldn’t be freaking out.
“I’m... Home...” The pinkette said before coming inside, gently placing her small luggage next to the door. The apartment had a nice feel to it, it was roomy, comfortable... And it smells like flowers. To be honest... She was looking forward to this!
“... Nina?” She called out for her once more before going in deeper into the room.

Cinnamon continued to walk down the isles, completely ignoring the fact that the red haired man seemed... Well... Familiar. But what caught her attention the most was his ears. It didn’t surprise her the least, she was practically in the same boat. Cinnamon was a magic user herself, so this wasn’t shocking. The pinkette will admit... It was intriguing.
A few minutes passed, and her hands were full of groceries. She didn’t thought this through correctly... She returned to the front to grab herself a basket, dumping everything inside, and continue on with buying even more stuff on top of that.
At this point... There was more groceries that she could handle. Exactly 2,000G worth of expenses, no more no less. “...Done.” The pinkette whispered quietly to herself, going back to the front for checkout. One by one, Cinnamon took out the items from her basket so the man could ring it up and place them inside the paper bags...
“... Your ears.” She couldn’t help but bring it up. “... You’re a... Dwarf. Correct?” Her eyes were still lazily looking at his ears, blinking softly. There’s something about him that just... Look so awfully familiar... “....................” At this point, she was intensely starring, trying to remember where she has met this person before...
“... Your name?”
It’s... Who? || Cinnamon & Doug
Ever since the day that he lost his temper and got rid of his magic-infused accessory, he’d started to live in the City with his ears exposed— with his real identity out in the open. It was… honestly, a bit terrifying as he still believed that there were still humans who hated his guts and want nothing but to annihilate their kind completely; but, at the same time, he couldn’t bring himself to stay in hiding. Should worse come to worst, he would have to fight to protect himself—
but, hopefully, it doesn’t really have to come to that.

In order to live, he needed to continue working— to get more money for riceballs and, or, other rice dishes. He could only hope that his boss won’t fire him just because he was a dwarf— but, as there are people who don’t take nicely to magical beings, he figured that he’ should expect to be taken off the job soon enough. And, besides, he didn’t think he could stand to stay in the same place as one of his co-workers either. Sigh.
It was when the the bell chimed, signalling that a customer has arrived, that Doug was brought back to his senses. As this was, probably, one of his last days here in the general store, he figured that he might as well make the most out of it.
“Hey, welcome!” He smile weakly, bit bit surprised when he noticed how the girl nod at him as if in acknowledgment. Did she not see that he was a dwarf? Or— maybe, she didn’t really mind? “…Just call me if ya need anything.”

It’s... Who? || Cinnamon & Doug
It was another quiet day at the Library, but it’s not like she didn’t mind it. Peace and quiet is usually what she enjoys, specially when you have great books about magic around you that you’ve never read before. Sadly, it had come to an end when her shift was over, handing it over to one of her co-workers. “... Goodbye...” She waved before leaving the premises.
At this time, the girl would usually just go either straight home, or go fishing... But that was quickly broken when she remembered-- She had to go shopping for groceries... It was always a pain in the neck, but it had to be done... She walked towards the nearest grocery place, counting the money she had left in her wallet. Just enough...
Cinnamon opened the door, a little chime greeted her happily. “....” She looked around and nodded at she spotted one of the people who seemed to be working there. The pinkette was never good at saying ‘hello’, so just a nod would do...
