âKanâŠâ
Nique casted him a worried glance, her voice also possessed that of a concerned tone. Kan nodded his head slowly, putting little to nothing pressure on her shoulder as he smiled at her, as if telling her that everything was going to be fine. Of course, it would be. He knew the reason why their conversation was cut off. It was because of someone elseâs presence in the vicinity. As much as he was irritated by that, Kan wasnât really planning on getting all worked up just because of that. It was better that he noticed their presence before they could hear more into their conversation.
âI know,â he breathed. âIâll see you again.â With a slow movement on top of her head, Nique turned into grains of sand, and slowly went back to her original form; an idle doll. He stood up from the rock that he was sitting on and within seconds, he was already standing behind the tree where he assumed the stranger was hidingâand he didnât disappoint. Staying silent for awhile, Kan stared at the figure that was still standing behind the tree despite the fact that he was not there anymore. Snorting softly to himself, Kan stepped forward, purposely applying more of his weight onto the leafy ground to catch her attention.
âYah,â he called out of her attention, slipping his hands into his pockets casually. âWhat are you doing here?â He stood next to her, angling his body sideways so that he was also peeking from behind the tree. If there was anything he could do at that moment âthat was to pretend like as if he wasnât there in the first place. An individualâs mind was easy to convince anyway. âWho were you looking at?â he asked once again, this time looking down at the girl in front of him. Her face looked familiar, but heâs sure that he only knew her by face. She must be one of them, one of the people in the cirque.Â
disturbance was never a friend, but there was you; Bom & Younghak
After hearing the news that the they would move from the island in a couple of days, Bom already had started with packing things. Safely putting away the things she didnât need everyday in her big over-sized suitcase she still made sure she would leave enough clothes out of it so she would have enough of them for the last couple of days. When the day of their departure came near and the members of the Cirque had to move all their general supplies from the island unto the boat, Bom -of course- was one of the first in line to help with that. She had stood up very early that morning (or better said night) so she could put on some warm comfortable clothes which would allow her to walk long distances for a long time and carry heavy things with her without having problems to move or walk. Getting out of her cottage that morning, she then easily made her way over to the place where the Cirque stored their supplies so she could pick up the first the best box (that wasnât too heavy to carry) and then started on her way to the boat.
Walking through the forest Bom carried a wooden box on her arms, pressing it against her stomach so it wouldnât suddenly fall out of her arms and she could divide the weight of the box a little. Even though she was walking alone Bom kept on a steady and rather fast pace as she actually couldnât wait to deliver this box since it was getting rather heavy as time passed. Puffing lightly when she was somewhere in the middle of her trip to the boat, she eventually decided that she had to take a small rest. Telling herself she would make up for that later on by walking a bit faster she still walked a couple of steps more before she finally did stop. Stopping in her tracks, she glanced briefly down at the ground, as if to find a good place to put down the box so she wouldnât slightly damage it, before she carefully placed it down. Puffing again as she straightened herself she instantly could feel how grateful her body was as relief floated through her now that she didnât have to carry that somewhat heavy weight no more. Glancing around the place, Bom could hear a voice coming from her left. Looking into that direction she saw a woman and a man who were seemingly sharing a conversation with each other. And she didnât know why, maybe because she was tired or just maybe because she was curious or maybe because she just didnât think about it, but for some kind of reason Bom kept on looking at the two for a little while longer as she also could hear a couple of things of what the two of them were talking about.Â

disturbance was never a friend, but there was you; bom
A walk in the dark, results to boredom and laziness.
At least, thatâs what Kan thought about this whole âstrolling in the forestâ idea. It hadnât been long since he actually settled in his pad with another guy, and since he was the type of person that would strive to find something to do to kill time, he ended up doing a night stroll with Nique in his hand. The female doll was looking at him in the eyes as he stared back at it, and he couldnât help but let the corner of his lips tug upwards to a small smile.
Another moment of silence with you, Nique?
Shifting slightly on the rock that he was sitting on, Kan placed his leg on the other as he placed the doll on the ground. His new home wasnât that far, but it was still far enough for him to be able to have a little talk with Niqueâfor him to be undisturbed. Closing his eyes, Kan ghosted his fingers over the dollâs body, grains of sand starting to form underneath the palm of his hands. In no time, the doll which used to be idle on the ground was now standing before him, again, in its naked glory. Heâd gotten used to it, so there was no surprised reaction from him.
He removed his parka and placed it over the womanâs shoulders. âHow have you been, Nique?â he asked, pushing her gently downwards to make her sit on the ground. His eyes lingered on the womanâs face, and he couldnât help but admire it silently. âI missed you.âÂ
#cirquebom#(( ended up capitalizing them don't want to trouble you ^^; ))#p: disturbance was never a friend but there was you
