happy celiac awareness month ₊˚ෆ

celiac as defined by google: “Celiac disease is a serious autoimmune disease that occurs in genetically predisposed people where the ingestion of gluten leads to damage in the small intestine. It is estimated to affect 1 in 100 people worldwide, but only about 30% are properly diagnosed.”

although my journey has been long and extremely difficult, this disease made me who i am today. i think its so important to spread awareness because some people don’t know celiac exists. some people suffer in silence. instead of undermining people’s experiences, i want to bring light to them!! i was diagnosed when i was younger, so this is what ive known for a long time. there have been days where i cannot get out of bed because i got glutened, days where i have hives and my skin aches to live in, and days where my stomach hurts so bad i think im going to explode.

but i love my body and everything it does for me, disease and all!! i know its doing its best. i love you so so much too

ok so two things about my life

1) I ran into a fence and have two apple size welts on my hip/thigh

2) I have full force baby fever and now walk around tjmax and those stores pretending to shop for my soon to *not* be baby girl/boy

I think I have a baby fever problem….
