Reflections

The past year has been a rollercoaster of information that has provided me with motivation and drive that I didn't know I had in me. When the program began, I was unsure of what to expect and where it would take me. I found myself learning and exploring things I wouldn't have investigated in the past.

I set goals for myself when the program began in October 2023, with the main one being able to say that I finished this program. I can successfully say that I did. With all the tears shed and struggles, I made it. After being told in the past that it would never happen, that I wasn’t smart enough, and that I never finish anything, I am proud to have achieved this. Additionally, with these goals, I wanted to learn different forms of distribution and production of these stories, as well as tell the story behind the images I was producing. Full Sail helped me understand in a way that even someone with a learning disability could understand. I wanted to connect my readers with the stories that I was telling in my imagery and have been given the information to do so.

In the future, I plan to continue striving to achieve the goals I have set for the next 5 years. I aim to apply my knowledge not only to my freelance work but also to a professional company. I am truly thankful for the guidance and support of the professors at Full Sail throughout the entire program. The real-world experience and hands-on learning have made the entire program worthwhile. Journalism takes many forms, and with the continued support of Full Sail and those who have been part of my journey, I am confident that I will achieve my goals.

It’s been a little bit. Let’s be honest it’s hard to keep up with the crazy amt of social apps out there. Life update I am two terms into my masters degree. Oh I graduated with my bachelors in June. I have been putting all my creativity into bird photography lately. Here is my recent fav.

5 weeks away from being a College Graduate! Y’all I never thought I’d get to this point. And I have never been more afraid of failure. I have to get to hustling to replace broken gear allowing me to capture more.

Spring has returned! Finally!

Years and years of doing portrait photography I lost my spark fast forward 5 years and Macro Photography found me! And I gained that spark again. I can not wait to see where this journey takes me!
