"I'm not a fan of rules myself," They say with a chuckle. "BUT, rules are set for a reason." They don't think they have to tell this person that though. "Not that I abide by them for the most part." Indigo playfully winks and flips their braided hair over their shoulder.

"Wanna see what they do up there?" They don't really have to sneak into the top floors of the Fibonacci's tall ass skyscraper.

"It was alright while I was there," They say with a shrug. They're downplaying, really. The school was fun and they learned a lot of things while there. Still, school hadn't really been much for them.

"Damn," So Kyrie had been alive at one point and then died. That----Damn. "You know, we can probably see if there are any ghost schools. If not, you think you could make something like that happen?" it's only just a thought. A pretty cool thought, but something they didn't think was really needed.

"There's a lot of ghost friends out here."

"That is cool as hell."

Magical hallucinations and dreamhopping...? They could do something like the first one, but it didn't sound like Indigo's was a primarily hostile effect. Maybe they'd keep quiet on theirs for now.

"No, I never heard of any real magic or magical schools. I woke up like this one day after dying... so I guess the dead are more adept at it than the living, where I come from."

They held a loose fist up to their mouth and tilted their head thoughtfully.

"I wasn't aware of any schools for ghosts either, but now that I think about it, there ought to have been one."

Indigo grins, snapping their finger in an 'aha' moment. Indeed, a bike didn't have holes. "I see you, Marcille." they lean forward now when the next riddle is presented, eyes on Marcille as they begin to think.

"Hmm...Let's see,"

What can you hold in your right hand, but never in your left hand?

This one is a little tricky. Even Indigo is thinking a little harder. "You'd think riddles would be my strong suit, mm?" They say with a wink over at Marcille.

"I think I got it, actually." Straightening themself up, they then give their answer, "Is it by chance your elbow?"

✲ "I think you're on the right track!" It was definitely a similar answer to what Marcille had come up with at least. "But the bike itself doesn't have holes in it, right? I'm thinking... the bike chain?" The half-elf's answer was met with a DING DING from a small machine nearby to indicate that she was correct. Marcille puffed out her chest with pride. "Hehehe..."

And that was a very attractive smug face that she was making, surely.

"So what's our next question? "What can you hold in your right hand, but never in your left hand?" Uh... Huh. I have no idea about this one. What about you, Indi?"

Here's a starter call for a non-event related one! LET'S GO, YEAH?

"Oof!" The force of being rammed from behind lunges Indigo's head forward. GODDAMN, give them a whiplash, will you!? "Holy shit what the fuck," Despite the word, Indigo seems PRETTY excited about the endless loop (it's not really endless). Just the sight has their blood pumping with a bunch of funness.

"Oh, with Pleasure Yuri." Yuri doesn't have to tell them twice as they're already working on giving the pursuers a present! WHAT'S IN THE BAG?

Upon releasing it and hitting the driver and its passenger square in the face, there's a white powdery substance that explodes on impact. "HAH! Take that, Suckers!" It DOES the job of making them lose control a bit, allowing their vehicle to slow behind. Multiple others zip right by them!

"Alright, Yuri! What's the plan~?"

"are you kidding? you think i built it?" yuri's bright laugh is carried away by the winds whipping against their ears, the swordsman giddier than usual as a result of the adrenaline. "no way! but if you wanna end up with a hunk of junk, then by all mea--!"

SLAM! their cart's rammed from behind, jolting the vehicle forward along with its two occupants. yuri just barely manages to keep his forehead from colliding with the wheel -- holding it steady all the meanwhile -- but the ordeal leaves him with a vengeful burning in his chest (albeit an excited one). he turns around to flip a certain finger toward their pursuer, but once he's done...

"the hell is that!?" 'that' being an honest-to-god loop-de-loop (what is this, a video game!?)! he's about 99% sure the car's equipped with tires that can manage zero-gravity terrain; yuri just has to... find the right button.

"oookay... while i focus on making sure we don't die, you mind giving our friends behind us a taste of their own medicine?"

They were only just minding their business picking up herbs and such for Marcille while she prepared whatever it was she was preparing in her little shed back home. With an unlit cigarette in their mouth (they wouldn't dare light one in the forest), they hum a tune. It isn't until they hear someone's voice from above that they actually pay attention (they know someone was up there after all).

They lift their head and eyes behind black-tinted lenses and spot the cat person,

"Yeah? I haven't lit the cigarette yet though." They knew what the stranger was talking about though. Not many people could get the scent of flames radiating off of them. "Y'got some sensitive nose there."

sniff sniff.

izutsumi wrinkles her nose--- what is that stench?

stirring from her nap, she perks up her ears and stares out over the grassy expanse from her perch in a tall tree, framed by trees and some form of seating. did someone set something on fire? did they have to do it here, while she was trying to relax? when she had decided it almost wasn't worth the effort it took to sate that curiosity, a waft of smoke stings her nose.

waving it away, the beastkin peers down below to find a stranger, standing beneath her tree. so that's where the burning smell is coming from... but there's something else there too, something... familiar. adjusting her position atop the branch, she stares at them pointedly, tail flicking from side to side.

" ... you smell weird. " there's no need to explain herself, at least not yet.

When the little creature buzzes onto Indigo's tatted hand, they laugh soft. Real cute! They'd have to tell Marcille all about the creature. Maybe she'd find interest and find Clover just as adorable.

"She'll love that. Meeting new people or even people like her." Magic was something of a passion wasn't it? Not just for indigo who's magic was everything about them, but also for Marcille.

"BE sure to stay hydrated," Indigo says with a friendly smile. "You're still feeling pretty new around the area? How are you feeling about Spirale?" She probably would love to go home.

[ 🌸 ] in response to hearing her name, the palisman hastily flew over to indigo, landing on their hand with a 'buzz' before flying back to willow. the witch let out a small chuckle at her palisman's antics before looking up at indigo once again, leaning over slightly to catch a peek at the blonde as they pointed her out.

" it's really nice to meet you, indigo. i'll have to meet marcille too when i have a chance! she seems to be having so much fun! "

she then turned her attention back to indigo, her hands clasping politely in front of her.

" well, i've been in spirale for maybe... 3 or 4 months? i honestly have no idea. but the party maybe an hour! "

"YEAH right," they say with a friendly scoff! "Do you even have a license?" Of course he doesn't BUT it's fine! They're not bothered actually and Yuri knows that. "You're lucky I know my way around all these," and it's their turn to grin, though it's followed by a playful wink.

"---" indigo's eyes lifts when the voice through the speaker begins their announcement. OKAY, it's about to start. They quickly wrap their hair into a bun. They're ready. Ready as they'll ever be!

There's excitement, adrenaline, their own heart bumps against their chest with the sound of the roaring engine. HAH! What Yuri feels, indigo certainly feels. The excitement builds and then

AT 3 when Yuri steps on the gas, Indigo laughs. "SHIT Yuri! I'm gonna have to come to you to build my car! Look at this thing go."

Man, they can already hear Marcille's worried tone BUT, okay, listen! Indigo was a reckless person and lump them in with Yuri and you got a DOUBLE Reckless creature! The rush was always exciting anyway and this is no different.

"Wooooow, would you look at this sweet ride," They say once they release a long, amused whistle. They can get by this, actually. With ease they slip right into the passenger side, "Yeah! One of us gotta remember---BUT how come YOU get dibs?" Indigo's only teasing if the playful pout is anything to go by.

"I look forward to wiping these guys' names on the floor." So Yuri ALMOST feels bad, but it looks like Indigo has their competitive side ON full blast!

Something as light-hearted as this was nice. The competition was still there against the other team, but it was definitely a nice change of pace from their competition in racing and other things.

"Hmmmm," The first thought that came to mind was a vehicle. HOWEVER, was a vehicle full of holes? Not outwardly, right? Or could one consider the exhaust pipe, the gas tank, and the hoods as holes that were covered?

A bicycle?

"Let's go with a bicycle. What's your answer, Marcille?"

✲ "I am full of holes but made of steel. I also help you ride. What am I?" Marcille was certain that Indigo would do some of the more active events with their other friends, but for her? The Think Tank event seemed more her speed. She didn't get to flex her mind all that much these days after all!

And she had decided that the two of them would do some riddles. After reading the slip she looked over at her partner.

"I think I have my answer, but before I share... What do you think the answer is?"

for someone who's never legally owned a car (he's rented them out a few times, okay? he wouldn't steal a whole ass vehicle), yuri's already quite the pro. drifting, swerving, slamming on the gas... he's got all the important stuff down! going fast comes naturally to him, he supposes, so signing up for a high-octane race with his equally-reckless friend was a no-brainer! doubly so knowing there aren't any street laws holding him back.

he almost feels bad for the poor folks going up against them. almost.

hopping into the driver's seat (dibs!) of their decked-out go-kart, yuri tilts his head invitingly for indigo to crawl in the back, excitement creeping into his tone, "your highly-weaponized chariot awaits! you remember what all the wacky knobs and levers do, don't you?" he sure doesn't! but as long as it sparks a bit of chaos for their opponents, who cares?

The painting is breathtaking, but more than that. They can't explain it, but it's almost as if the painting is pulling Indigo in. It's flowers, the clear blue skies, the trees, the birds in flocks...it reminds them of home.

It isn't until they hear her voice that Indigo pulls their eyes away, "OH! Well, I think either way I'd be absorbed. it's real pretty." As a fellow artist, in a different way sure, they can really appreciate another work of art.

"here did you want this?"

❝ Oh. Thank you. ❞ the delivery had arrived as expected to her home, only the small problem being that the delivery person had managed to stumble into, well... the painting itself. ❝ I should have been more specific on the leaving instructions to avoid you being absorbed into the painting when showing up. ❞

"It's GOOD, isn't it? You'll have to let me know. I wanna try making many of these treats at home but I gotta know the recipes and all that." Indigo plants a kiss on top Marcille's head. "

Indigo pulls Marcille a little to the next table full of goodies and picks up a platter of jell-o like treats. "Ooh. Here try this one." Indigo is already squeezing the cup of Jell-O fruit content into their mouth while holding one out for Marcille to try. "S'my first time trying Jell-O. It's not bad"

✲ Marcille was taken off guard by the sudden "Girl!" and her ears flattened for a moment, the elf perking up. There was almost no point in her trying to deny that she was something of a glutton in front of Indigo. She definitely didn't shy away from trying to creampuff that was practically waved in front of her. "Om!" She took a bite right out of Indigo's hand.

And then squealed. "It's so creamy and sweet! I wonder who catered this thing anyways...?" She knew the woman who was running it at least.

"Maybe I can ask Tsuru later. Since this wasn't hosted by the Stars I have to assume that they didn't provide the food." Usually when they did the food just replenished itself or something weird like that.

"Sure have." They're already looking at their arms and everywhere else that they can that's appropriate.

"Just gotta find a spot, right? I'm almost covered everywhere." Maybe another small one on their face? They already have a small one above their eyebrow and another around their neck. What's one more on the face? Decision, decisions.

"Willow and Clover," Indigo smiles and extends their hand out to welcome Clover to do as she pleases. Perhaps a gesture of friendship.

"Nice to meet you, Willow and Clover, I'm Indigo, and," They turn their head to point with a hint of fondness they don't try to hide toward a blond elven woman, "That's Marcille over there." They're glad she seems to be having a lot of fun!

"have the two of you been here long?"

[ 🌸 ] a soft laugh slipped past the girl's lips as a hand rose to rest on her hip, a single eyebrow raising.

" well thank you! by the way, my name is willow, and this-- " a hand raises to rub her palisman's neck affectionately. a coo escaped her beak as it took a look at the figure before her. " this is clover! "

she dropped her hand before looking up at indigo once again.

" what's your name? "

"You were great." Everyone can bounce to the beat, but it took more than bouncing to the beat. Some people felt the beat. "But I am surprised that you hadn't danced before," Adjusting their height, Indigo stands fully and rotates their own ankles.

"I don't think anyone would have noticed."

[ 🌸 ] she looked up at the woman with a light laugh before lowering her ankle to rest on the floor. at her offer, willow shook her head before offering a smile in return.

" i appreciate it, but i think i'm okay! i'm just not used to like... you know, standing and moving on my feet for so long. i think i just need to sit for a little bit, let them chill out. "

pointed ears lowered slightly as she inquired about where she had learned to dance... she really never danced in her free time. in all honesty, she never danced.

" i'll be honest... i've never really danced before so i just... i don't know, bounced around to the beat? "

she laughed awkwardly, rubbing the back of her neck as clover fluttered over and landed on the back of the chair, nuzzling her neck fluff into willow's cheek.
