This is because everything in my life requires work:

maintaining friendships

keeping up with my hygiene

managing bills

making money

remembering my basic needs

sleeping regularly

outputting creatively

All requires some aspect of work for me.

And when everything in your life requires work, your balance goes out the window.

If you're neurodivergent and overwhelmed — I see you.

If you're chronically ill and overwhelmed — I see you.

You're not dysfunctional.

You're not incapable.

You're doing your best.

EMERGENCY!! Help a disabled woman struggling with her rent!!!

Saturday January 27th: Hello everyone, I’m Gemma, a bi, mentally ill, and disabled woman in desperate need of help, as I'm struggling to keep my utilities on and pay my rent this month as it is overdue by £144.92!!

I am so sorry to be making this post at such an inconvenient time, but I'm struggling so terribly right now to make ends meet while on welfare/disability. And since the festive season, I have been in desperate need of aid to keep my utilities on, as it has been colder than expected, and I have had to put my utilities onto emergency credit a few times this month, especially with all the storms ravaging the UK right now.

I've already contacted my council in regards to my rent, and they’ve told me to pay what I can towards it, but I dont have any money to do so. And I know this is a huge ask, and I'm completely heartbroken to be asking for help again, but I really need some as I don't receive my welfare or ADP until the 31st. The minimum I need is £145 for my rent. If I can cover that, then my utilities can wait. However, my goal is £250!!

If anyone could spare any amount to help me, it would save my life, and sharing definitely helps just as much as donations. Thank you!! ❤️
