I was simply noting the fact that His Highness seems rather fond of you. And it is not unusual for a Prince to take up with the servants before he is wed. It’s expected actually. Do you know how many kingdoms have illegitimate babies due to such relationships? I was just asking because no matter how much His Highness tries to hide it, or say how much you displease him as a servant we all see the way he looks at you. Especially after his teenage years. The way the two of you would be caught in the utmost precarious situations. No one would say anything if you were.” Janus chuckled under his breath. “If I were found out to actually be sleeping with the Prince? That’s what you mean surely?”
