So here we are again... waiting for the end

As many of you fantrexians know, the season 3 finale is coming, and maybe with that, the series cancelation too. Of course, there’s nothing confirmed yet, so we’ll have to wait for the best outcome for the series.

So I wanted to open about a few feelings

First things first: I love Final Space, I’ve been a fantrexian since season one and I can’t express how much it means to me, not only for the show itself, but for what it means to my life as well. Final Space brought a lot of things to my life, I’ve made friends, shared experiences and even got into things like animation and story writing, a passion that I found with Final Space, it all started there for me, and I know that’s the case for a lot of people too.

And now the show itself: Final Space is a wonderful space opera that you have to watch with the heart more than anything else, because that’s the point that the series wants to touch with it’s story, the viewers heart. Family, love, comedy, tragedy and many other words are used to describe this show’s many great moments, and it’s for a good reason...

Once you start Final Space, you start to know this disfunctional, messy but lovely family that is the Galaxy one crew, you’ll watch them grow and with that you’ll grow too, and once you’ve come paste episode 7, you’ll realize that you are now part of this family too, and that’s a feeling that not many shows can bring.

And we owe that to the wonderful crew behind it, they’ve put their heart and soul on this and you can see it not only in the wonderful animation the show has, but in how much the characters can grow into you too, that feeling is the love that the wonderful people behind this show has put into it.

Of course the show is not perfect, it has its high points as well as low points, but like I said, is a show that you’ll enjoy better if you watch it with your heart.

So, to the crew, to Olan, to everyone that has been here since the start, and to everyone that can call themselves a Fantrexian, Thank you

Hey guys, I want to do a little Something...

As many of you may know this weekend we’ll have a huge update of TDD because the previous ones were delayed by Mochamura.

So I thought that, as a way of thanking Mocha for all the effort, love and care that she has put into the comic, we should do a little "TDD trending party" this week to get more people into the comic!

The idea is pretty simple, you can share your fan art, experiences or thoughts of the comic in every group and social media that you belong to, inviting people to read the comic and support Mocha’s work, and hashtag all the fandoms that could have people interested in the comic, for example, you can share a fan art or a mini-review of the comic in Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram, and you hashtag other fandoms that you belong to, like Hazbin Hotel, Villainous, etc. that way it reaches more people and not only fans of TDD.

So ¡Go ahead! ¡Call everyone you know! I believe

The idea of this is increasing the popularity of the comic and getting more people interested in a comic that deserves way more attention.

This is gonna be a hot take and I’m probably getting cancelled after this... but

(This is gonna be a long ass text so grab some popcorns and get comfortable)

Something feels pretty wrong about Evra, she came out of nowhere, she got close to Ash instantly and they became friends almost instantly (not to mention Ash fell for her after just minutes of talking with her)

Knowing the nature of the series and that Evra was found in Final Space, chances are high that Evra is actually a trap of Invictus, for everything I’ve said before...

But what if she’s not.. (and this is where the hot stuff begins)

If she’s actually gonna be an ally and probably Ash’s couple, then I have a lot of things against that, and you see, that means Evra was created to, literally, say "Look, this character is a lesbian, look how inclusive we are" and that is a problem I have with Final Space and other series.

I love Final Space, it’s a (mostly) mature series that touches a lot of topics (sometimes they get them right, and sometimes wrong) such as found family, forgiveness and the lost of a loved ones, and lamely "inclusion and representation" has not been handled in a proper way.

You have Olan, the crew and basically everyone involved in FS hyping the fact that a Character is gay, with the argument that is inclusive and representative, yet Hyping the sexuality of a character is like, y’know the LAST inclusive thing to do, because basically you’re telling me that something is gonna be special just because it is gay, and that sounds pretty exclusive, at least to me.

And the series doesn’t handle it better, the relationship between Ash and Evra is rushed, Ash starts falling for Evra almost instantly after knowing her and they only had a few minutes of developement, and Evra is the typical character that exists to be the romantic interest of the other, making Ash feel good and telling her basically everything she wants to hear instead of what she NEEDS to hear (Basically she has a "make me feel good-inator ").

And this is not right because first, that’s not how relationships work. When you want a genuine, healthy romantic relation with someone it takes more than just being comfortable around that person, you must complement each other, not complete them, you have to be there in the good times and the bad times aswell, you must trust each other and when the truth must be said, then say it, do not just be nice and make each other feel good all the time, when you must say, feel or do something to right a wrong of your partner, you must do it. Find a partner, not someone who just makes you happy.

Lamely this is not the case, Evra is just there to make Ash feel good and have fun, in fact the first thing they did together was destroying everything on their sight (The reason of why that is a bad thing should be selfexplanatory ), in other words, to the moment their relationship is pretty toxic and not organic at ALL.

The problem is not the fact that Ash is a lesbian, the problem is that the series is advertising this as something special and that stuff with a poorly developed relationship between her and a character they invented just to tell you that she’s a Lesbian (if they were really inclusive, they wouldn’t talk about how special is having a gay character, because people’s sexuality is nothing special about them, is just another little detail about them).

And I can’t explain myself why they couldn’t make an actual organic and well done relationship with Ash when they already made one with Gary and Quinn.

They were organically introduced in the story and their relationship takes the best out of each other instead of just them being happy. (I will talk about their relationship in another post)

So, if they wanted to have Ash having a romantic relation with someone ¿Then why not with Little cato? They’ve already shared a lot of experiences together, Little cato cares about Ash and Ash about little cato, and they actually can work out together as something genuinely good instead of a "I like you because you make me feel good"

Knowing that they also want to make Little cato Gay, maybe the writers used every resource they had to not make them a couple (Yeah maybe even aging Ash, btw if she goes back to normal then the relationship between her and Evra is going to bring soooo many awkward moments...)

It’s a bad thing when a show throws away good writing decisions and interesting things I order to follow an agenda.

And now a few problem I have with the fandom...

I like this fandom, I really do, I have made friends here, shared experiences and I’ve had a lot of fun over all...

But why the fuck are you guys and the writers so desperate to have a gay character, and making Little Cato that Gay character?

Because people were upset that Little cato was not the gay one but my question is ¿Why do you need one so much and why particularly him?

If it is because he is fragile, and a little shy then you’re literally begging for him to be gay just because he acts like a gay stereotype. And that is totally wrong. Heterosexual people can be shy and Fragile. Gay people can be shy and fragile. Everyone can be shy and fragile because your sexuality just defines if you like men, women, or both, and nothing more.

The fact that that people want a teenager character to have a certain quality just to represent them seems off to me, you don’t need a character to be gay to represent you, YOU can represent yourself better than anyone can.

So yeah, if you ask me, the writers took some Poor choices in order to have a certain part of the audience "Happy with how representative they are"

Now this is just what I think and if you want to disagree you totally can, you maybe even can change my mind.

But come on guys, people are not made of sexualities, races or political agendas, it’s just a little part of a bigger something, and that’s why giving importance to sexualities is just wrong.

Now this does not mean that Final Space is bad or that I don’t like the people behind it, I think that Olan Rogers and his crew are really lovely and talented people and they’ve put a lot of their soul in a show that, while is not perfect, is truly a great story and full of awesome moments. But I definetively don’t like some of their choices and I will express that, and that doesn’t mean I dislike any of them, because I love this series and the crew behind it, and I’ll always do.

Classy boys appreciation post

Here I present to you some of the classiest, finest bois that I like.

Paris the puppet, from "The dummy’s dummy"

We start with everyone’s favorite puppet boy ¿What Can I say about him? He is the whole pack, he’s handsome, tall, classy, deadly and his personality and charisma are just awesome. And the mystery that surrounds him are just so interesting. The way he always seems to be in control over every problem that comes to him show why he is the scariest and deadliest of Ivan’s creations and the way his character develops is just awesome. His interactions with every other character are 10/10 and he always steals the scene when it comes to action and dialogue

Alastor from "Hazbin hotel"

Now I know a lot of characters in Hazbin could’ve been done better, but Alastor is not one of them. Every aspect of him carried the last part of the pilot, from the direction the character is taking to his energetic yet gentle personality, also the fact that he is like a sadistic version of Charlie makes them an awesome combo. Also, given that he is seemingly an important character in hell (Even Charlie recognizes him that way) we may seem a lot of interesting things coming from him. Definitively the best part of the pilot (Yeah screw Angel Dust, sorry not sorry)

Black hat from "Villainous"

Black hat has the class and the style, and may be the most deadly of all villains, but he lacks a lot of modals when it comes to personality, anyways, it’s always interesting to see him use his powers and know more and more about him, that makes him a solid character and a truly enjoyable villain

Jack Skellington, from "The nightmare before christmas"

The (dead) man himself, Jack is just so full of personality and charisma, he may be the king of Halloween, but he is just so sweet when it comes to show affection towards the ones he cares about, definetively a lovely classy boy.

Death teacher, from "Everything that will kill you from A to Z"

His voice is charm AF and his personality, even though charming, is scary and sutile, truly a character to beware if you want to sleep easily.

Nicky, from "Brittle bones Nicky"

"...And that son of a bitch was gold" truly describes Nicky, he is the diehard by excellence and a tough underdog. When it comes to Nicky you know it’s gonna be a rollercoaster of punches, blood, and a lot of fun. Hemight not be quite the gentleman, but he’s definetively got the style and the moves.

Blitzø (The "o" is silent), from "Helluva boss"

I must say that I’m in a middle point with Blitzø, while he’s got a lot of style, and I enjoyed a lot him and his cute jerk personality in the pilot, in the series he is a huge douchebag and just disgusting. While his scenes are still pretty fun to watch, the childish way he acts and the way he treats everybody are just annoying. Still a funny character though.

And now we finish this list with:

Nox, from the James Lee animations

Now if you thought that Blitz and Nicky were degenerates Nox is straight up in a criminal level of degeneration, for he is pretty much the embodiment of all the view-suckers and troublemakers in the internet and in real life, and so he is the lowest point in terms of morality.

The way Lee portraits him is awesome and it adds a lot to his style, awesome character.

First of all: yes, I ship Paris and Lily, I mean of course they might actually fight a lot but I think most of the flames that Lily throws at Paris are actually a way of hiding her feelings for him, besides, love seems to be a topic now in the new chapter, and the only ones that have shown some kind of affection towards Paris (Besides Ivan) are Yumi and Lily (Iris doesn’t interact with him a lot) and Yumi is more of a young sister to Paris than a lover, and Paris has shown admiration for Lily (Of course not that much, after all Paris is a pretty good liar and manipulator, so is easier for him to hide his feelings in his selfishness and overconfidence)

And is not like this came out of nowhere or that it wasn’t hinted before, after all we have seen many times that Lily actually thinks a lot about Paris and after all, why not, he is not only a handsome boy but he also saved her life

So ¿How could they be a thing?

Through the comic Paris seems to become more and more human in terms of personality, and seeing that love is a topic now in the series, we could actually get an arc where Paris starts to take Lily and her feelings more seriously (I think he already noticed that she likes him, after all Paris seems to be pretty good at reading people) and Lily being more open about how she feels, having a different approach at Paris and the way she treats him, being more kind and confident around him, that would also put a lot more of tension and problems for Paris if Polakov decides to kidnap both Yumi and Lily... that would be one hell of an arc.

And now ¿How would they relationship go? Well that is pretty easy, I think they would always be passive/aggressive towards each other in public, but very sweet in private moments, also I can totally see Paris as a protective boyfriend, while Lily could also help him adapt to the new world, being the voice of reason and the one to put Paris in his place whenever he gets out of the "right path" (Also they would totally have this mom and dad friends dynamic when it comes to Yumi, after all they both care a lot about her)

And as a bonus, I can’t help it but see their fight at the beginning of the comic as a foreshadowing for their relationship, after all Lily "atacks" and Paris follows her moves, as if they were both having a romantic dance in a twisted way (Also Lily calls Paris prom boy so I can bet she actually wants him to be her prom date)

So...¿Who is the strongest?

Through the whole comic it has been most likely stated that Paris is the strongest of Ivan’s creations, since all the other toys, and e en ghost a, seem to be afraid of Paris (And there are good reasons for that, for he is most likely strong enough to easily kill all kind of monsters and even humans, add that to his sadistic personality)

But...

In the last update of the comic we could finally see Paris and Polakov interacting, and Paris is seemingly *Afraid* of Polakov, meaning that Polakov as strong, if Not stronger, than Paris.

But something seems weird to me...

Earlier in the series, it was Stated by Paris himself that he tore Polakov to shreds, that is an obvious lie, or at least most of it, for they most likely had a fight in the past, a fight that seemingly Paris won, for he is in a perfect state and in One piece, unlike Polakov, Who has scars in his mask (meaning that he lost to Paris) so maybe he thinks he finished Polakov for good, but Polakov somehow survived and escaped

Another thing that makes me believe that Paris won the fight against Polakov is that he seemingly finished his job normally, and Ivan locked him in a box after Polakov’s defeat, that obviously means, again, that Paris won the fight

One last thing I would like to address is the line of the soldier toy:

"He’ll put me back, all of us"

Even though he is most likely justifying himself, he may also be warning Polakov that Paris is back, but if Polakov is stronger than Paris ¿Then why was the soldier afraid of Paris when Polakov could deal with him? After all he is stronger... or at least that’s what we would think if there wasn’t evidence that Paris defeated Polakov in the past

So... Paris, seemingly, is still the strongest of Ivan’s creations, even stronger than Polakov

So ¿why is Paris so afraid of Polakov?

I think that Polakov wasn’t made to contain but to replace Paris, in case he made something that Ivan considered unforgiven, and since Paris was completely obedient to Ivan’s orders, he would have nothing to do but letting himself be replaced (Or maybe even destroyed) by Polakov

I think that’s why Paris is so afraid of him, the fact that he exists is the ultimate proof that Paris is replaceable, after all, he admited to be replaceable at Kay’s house

So, he did his job and followed Ivan’s orders to make sure he wouldn’t be replaced/destroyed by Polakov, and once the job was done, Polakov turned against Ivan, and Paris defeated him to defend Ivan, but he maybe had a hard time fighting him, after all, if Polakov was made to replace Paris, he should be at least as strong as him, then, Ivan had to make an exception to his "no killing" rule and Let Paris finish Polakov, wich Paris did, or at least that’s what he thinks...

So, maybe the reason why Ivan lost track of all of his toys was because when Paris was not around to help him, Polakov took revenge of him and made sure that Paris got lost, so he would never come back to do his job, and in the current timeline, Polakov wants to hurt Yumi so he can have a way to get revenge on Paris, after all if he cannot defeat him, he can definitively hurt the people around him, and then Paris would have to make a choice between his life or his friends (Because Polakov May also want to hurt the twins) and then Polakov would have something to bring Paris to his knees

So, Paris is stronger than Polakov, but not that much stronger, and he most likely defeated him for his experience fighting monster’s, but, Polakov seemingly is way more Sadistic than Paris, and given that he was made to replace Paris, maybe that is the reason why Paris fears him

I have a little prediction for the rest of the series.

I know its kinda obvious that Alastor has other reasons to help Charlie and that what he told her may be a lie, wich is why Vaggie does not trust him, BUT ¿what if his motivations are actually good? I have a little headcanon and its that at some point of the series, Alastor will do something suspicius that turns out it was something actually good (like a gift for Charlie or something like that) and Vaggie missunderstood this before Alastor can do something and she atacks him, making worse the reputation of the hotel and making Alastor to stop helping them
