I truly love my dad. I was hanging out with him at the store to grab a few things, it was less than $40. As I was taking out my card, he immediately took his card out like it was a race to pay for it. The last time I hung out with him, he would point out how much grandma spoils me or how little I took out my wallet whenever I came to visit. When I pointed out what he was currently doing his only reply was "I'm a dad...it's different"

Apparently calendars are useful when you realize you can write stuff on it. And they somehow serve a purpose if you hang it somewhere you are going to see every MINUTE of the day (i.e. Fridge, next to the front door, next to the couch)

I feel less overwhelmed with remembering stuff since it's right THERE!

Does anyone remember how fun Syfy used to be back then?

Like, on the weekends they would sometimes do marathons on specific types of movies (i.e. werewolf, vampire, loch ness, etc.)
