When Allura had been asked to mentor the Arendelian queen, she had to admit there had been a few reservations in her mind. For one thing, she hadn't quite done anything like it before and she wasn't certain how good a teacher she would be. For another, she herself was not a sorcerer, her own magic was not innate but rather brought about by study and practice.

"Perhaps she ought to be mentored by someone who has powers more like hers. I can teach her what I know, but my powers don't have the same source, I might be limited in my capacity to understand what she needs." The council seemed unconcerned by this, and insisted Allura was the best fit for her. As such, Allura resolved to do whatever it took to help Elsa learn magical control. She spoke with every sorcerer she knew, spent hours upon hours in the library, and exhausted every resource she had access to.

OKAY, SO. Like immediately after my last post, my pregnant sister-in-law wound up having to go into the hospital and stay on bedrest until the baby came, so we've been dealing with that as a family, but GOOD NEWS, my niece was born yesterday! Everyone is healthy, happy, going to be a while longer before they can go home but the outlook is good. Now FOR REAL, I will actually get things rolling here. lmao

I believe Vex'ahlia shows mercy where she feels mercy is earned. She does not wantonly kill or act with violence, but she does what is necessary to keep the forces of evil at bay. She is willing to dole out justice if the need arises but has learned to stay her hand at times as well.

Peony: what would a 'happy life' look like in your muse's eyes?

Solaria's ultimate vision is to have earned some sort of title through her deeds; to be known throughout the world as someone who performs heroic acts and maybe even saved the world a time or two. As a wood elf, she has quite a bit of time to achieve her goals, and being young for her kind, she has not thought too far ahead.

Therefore, with a brief sigh, Valas replies in kind, ❝ If I may be so bold to assume, it would seem as thought you are… requesting to accompany me, in a manner of speaking ? ❞

A smirk tugged the corner of her mouth upward. “Was that not obvious? And here I was thinking myself such an expert at blunt communication. You humble me. Yes, that is what I would request, should you be so kind.” Despite her longing to be well known for her deeds, Solaria still understood the reason for doing good deeds in the first place. There was so much about the world that needing fixing - corruption, evil, and all things in that realm. She wanted the side of good to prevail, at the end of the day, but why not enjoy a little glory as a reward? It sweetened the pot. Fighting evil was not exactly the safest of career paths, after all.
