Okay listen - I'm currently watching "before the flood" and I remembered one of the ideas I had about global warming.
The sea level is rising - but what if we used that to our advantage, and started making water to water the, now, expanding deserts around the world?
Like the water could even be used for crops, in water sparse areas.
All we needed was a pumping system, a water collector and the power of the sun.
The pump, could even work like a natural suction pump, no power needed to run only to start it.
Then a large bassin where the water runs into, the sun heats the bassin, and then we somehow collect the vaporated water droplets.
It could be done in big greenhouse like buildings speeding up the process.
The salt is a waste product, but maybe that could be used instead of mining salt.
When we water the desert, we will with time, get grass plains, forrests and more clouds, more rain, thus cooling the planet.
Tell me I'm an idiot, but I actually think this could work, well in theory anyway, because I'm not sure how big this operation needs to be, to have an actual effect..
Just some thoughts..
If there's any grammatical errors, sorry, english is not my first language.

Also the tendons on those poor legs! The must be so overloaded. Stress fractures and such would be a concern I would think about. Plus is using to much energy jumping like that, fast rounds needs good technique.

But many of the european breeders are, in my opinion, ruining the horses. They are bred so big that their bones can’t keep up. We are also seeing foals/yearlings with incorrect gaits, like the dreaded one toe trot. Image ex Some of the young horses are bred with so large shoulders and hinds, that they actually jump of the ground, instead of moving forward in a healthy matter. (like Polka Hit Nexen Video) Some horses are bred with so small feet that they can’t support their weight as adults. Some are having kissing spines (well actually most modern sport horses have a degree of kissing spines), hip displacements problems with their ligaments and tendons. Recently a horse was pulled from competition, because it had been de-nerved, but the owners maintained that it had full feeling, even though a farrier, that had worked on the horse earlier, was warned to be careful with it’s feet because it was totally numb. Link to article Then there is the whole training aspect, LDR/Rollkur young horses being rushed to look fabulous and looking like a collected horse - when it infact the horse is not. So no - I don’t think most European horses a better at all!!!
Why are European horses on another level compared to American horses? Like physically.
Because they are usually trained better from the start by better riders, if I can be that blunt. Like started better with better basics from when you back them. They learn right away how to carry themselves. Then there will always be horses with different levels of talent and natural ability, and European riders who are better or worse and Americans who are better or worse than average. But the overall standard of training from the ground up is better in Europe.

just to clear some things up...
It came to my attention yesterday that some have been pointing to my videos and saying that I am giving credibility to the anti-Semitic movement, and my fans are part of it as well for watching. I don’t want to cite the sources because I don’t want to give them any more attention.
This originated from a video I made a couple of weeks ago. I was trying to show how crazy the modern world is, specifically some of the services available online. I picked something that seemed absurd to me—That people on Fiverr would say anything for 5 dollars.
I think it’s important to say something and I want to make one thing clear: I am in no way supporting any kind of hateful attitudes.
I make videos for my audience. I think of the content that I create as entertainment, and not a place for any serious political commentary. I know my audience understand that and that is why they come to my channel. Though this was not my intention, I understand that these jokes were ultimately offensive.
As laughable as it is to believe that I might actually endorse these people, to anyone unsure on my standpoint regarding hate-based groups: No, I don’t support these people in any way.
Thanks for reading.

pic.1: skeleton of “large boy”, 17 hands stallion aprox. 5 yo (all other pictures are bones of this boy
pics 2,3: pelvic limb, pelvis - proximal growth place of the femur should close at 3,5 (Ghetie 1971), pelvis tuber coxae at 4,5 and symphysis pelvina starts to ossify with age from a cranial edge.
pic.4: femur and tibia; proximal tibia should ossify in 3,5; distal femur at 3,5 yr.
pic.5: humerus - distal growth plate should ossify at 18 m., proximal growth plate should close at 3,5 y of age…
pic.6: vertebrae - their (vertical) growth plates should be closed at 3,5 - 4yo animal.
As you can see our boy has some of those growth plates still active at his age of 5 years….
Taken from Whole Horse Dissection on facebook. Unfortunately I don’t know enough about skeletons to be able to remark on these pictures, but given all the debate about when horses are old enough to ride, I thought it was awesome to find some pictures of an actual skeleton of a specific horse at a specific age to share with you guys.

Sometimes I just really hate the world we live in...
Hey, sorry if this is a touchy and/or painful subject to you, but I'd like to know your opinion on stunting the growth of severely, intellectually disabled children.
I’m not sure what you mean by stunting the growth?

Luca Maria Moneta is a professional italian showjumper. He’s regularly competing at 5* level, and has made his World Cup debut last month in Las Vegas.
Here are some extracts from his interview with Equidia about his training methods. We can see him work his top horse and World Cup ride, CONNERY.

The problem I belive isn't adblock either.. It's invasive ads. Loud, screen covering and animated ads - and now also youtube ads on almost every video.. 5 min videos with ads running before each video.. It drives me insane.. It does not only make me hate their products, the companies but also the site that allows such ads. Then there is the info tracking. Sites who pulls info on the user, and share the info with? Who knows.. That is what I belive is the problem and why I Block ads and most trackers. I started blocking ads, when they interrupted my web experience and invaded my "personal space".
Thoughts on YouTube Red.
Since YouTube recently announced their new payed service “YouTube Red”. Everyone has been up to arms about it, for mainly good reasons!
YouTube doesn’t exactly have the greatest reputation when it comes to new updates.

YouTube Red’s main selling points being: You can watch YouTube without ads, watch original shows, download videos, access to music library, etc. All for $10 a month. (Source)
It’s worth noting right away that my show “Scary PewDiePie” will be available via YouTube Red. (Link)
So how come YouTube, an ad revenue website decided to switch to include payed services? This might seem insane, especially since YouTube comes from the ad giant Google.
Well, despite YouTube being a huge website, YouTube still isn’t profiting. Daily Mail posted earlier this year:
If you read through all those bullet points, the answer behind YouTube Red’s existence becomes a lot more clear.
Either way, it still seems that most people aren’t sold about YouTube Red yet:

Why? Well the answer is simple, people’s main argument being: “Why would I pay $10 a month for a service that I can get for free with Adblock”?

So out of curiosity, I asked via Twitter how many people actually use adblock:
I can also confirm with my own Google statistics that, that 40% is a correct estimate.
It’s a number that has grown a lot over the years, from roughly 15-20% when I started. And it’s not unlikely that it will keep growing.
What this means is that YouTubers lose about 40% of their ad income.
Personally, I’m ok with if you use adblock on my videos. Ads are annoying, I get it, I’m not here to complain about that.
But for smaller channels, this number can be devastating.
Despite this, it seems that many people’s general attitude towards Adblock is very open loose:

I think what many people still don’t realize is that:
# YouTube Red exist largely as an effort to counter Adblock.
# Using Adblock doesn’t mean you’re clever and above the system.
# YouTube Red exist because using Adblock has actual consequences.
Now, there are questions remained to be answered about YouTube Red. Like: How much of YouTube Red’s $10 actually goes to it’s creators? How come YouTubers don’t get payed for Novembers free trial period? This was changed recently, (Source). Will YouTube Red actually be beneficial for smaller channels? Is the $10 price actually justified?
These are all important questions about YouTube Red. But right now, it’s more important that we understand what the actual problem here is.

Everytime I see a picture of a broken neckline cross my dash, I can’t help but cringe.
It’s really not that hard to tell them apart once you know what to look for.

Andreas Helgstrand is a man with little moral. (well after my standards) He sold a horse for a stud farm in Denmark, upped the prize and took the difference himself, you know embezzlement. He rode a horse in a clinic, where he was prosecuted for animal abuse, all charges was dropped though. He is currently the trainer for Anna Kasprzak - who last year was accused of using rollkur/hyperflexion/LDR. He also caught bad wind, when a video of a 2 or was it (2½) horse was shown in big free trot with a rider on. Many many years ago, he was in a tv show about sick horses being bought and sold, and claimed it was normal, to get paid to recommend a horse or cover up that the horse had any health issues. There has been several more incidents with this man, but still people idolise him and he is still welcomed with open arms at shows, get defended by other trainers and riders. His dad is by the way chairman in DRF (Danish Riding federation). So I guess that has a lot to say. Plus he very degrading view on “amateurs” riders. Like you truly don’t know anything about horses, if you don’t make a living out of it. (that is how i interpret what he says)

This whole slideshow is golden but these are my faves.
