If you are still taking questions, I know Minx is your current fix, but I am very curious to know: In Not Writing/Trouble with Tuesday, did Jason tell Alfred? I'm sure Bruce is going to be the last to know, but surely Jason wouldn't make his granfatherly figure wait that long.

Oh, Trouble with Tuesday is likely the next big DoM fic for ao3, but I need to plot it out and, y'all, I cannot right not. I am so close crying and or throwing up today it's great. Never fear, it will come back though!

Hum. Dick knows very early. But considering Danny is seducing Jason/RH atm lol no, Jason doesn't tell Alfred. I'm not sure if he knows before Tim learns about Danny tbh. But Jason sure as fuck would inform him quickly after before a sibling could!

Hum hum... I think it would be that it is a way to satisfy (for himself and as a service to others) the need for touch and sexual intimacy without the emotional intimacy.

I've been thinking about a prostitute danny dead on main au too, but only in the context of an animatic to Loser, Baby. It's trapped in my brain, I don't know how to draw!

Really though, don't have to be an artist to animate! I've taught 'em. Esp animatics can be rough and ugly. Animator's Survival Kit is a great book (and, while I wouldn't normally say to pirate cause authors deserve money and do not make enough usually, he has passed away noq and you can find it easily).

This is gonna sound super dumb, have you tried wearing a rebreather mask until you figure out what you're allergic to? Obvi not all the time, but it may help. Also, see if you can find over the counter sudafed it's an allergy med that helps me be able to exist in the spring.

That's not dumb. I will likely put it on when I do the sweeping! (I have one for art.) And I think I'll start using my good filtered mask when walking outside for a bit. I take zyrtec daily right now already!

I'm not bad all the time, but I've been getting Very Itchy in a way that usually proceeds hives for me so have been taking benedril. It may just be my body is overloaded with spring in what is still a new area for me and how long I've felt ill and because I'm allergic, technically, to cats. Esp since my oldest man is... fading away, I may be losing my immunity to him if his chemical balance is changing and his... er, lacking hygiene atm. (I struggled when my newest boy came into the house a few years ago too.) So I'm going to try, if health allows, to clean and wipe down the old man with pet wipes more often (he is not a fan). When he first starts out he probably chooses something 'girly' like Cindy. Or 'cliche' like Candy maybe. But once he goes escort based I think he'd change it. Maybe something gender neutral so that the johns only have to remember one name, something like like Morgan or Ashley or Blair.

Though since Minx has become such a thing, that might be what the neighborhood knows him as. I like how even though minx is a femme fatal thing, it comes across as agendered a bit. Everyone in the neighborhood prob has what pronouns they prefer to call Danny by and he'll answer to any of them.

Ohhh gotcha gotcha. And hah- feeling better. That's a wonderful fantasy it feels like at this point... been since, what, October? I'm going to sit down again and write this because while I need to clean my space to remove whatever is making me ill, I'm going to fall over in a faint if I keep sweeping.

So anyways! Let's make this hurt.

Rewrite the the Nasty Burger explosion. Take out the whole "cheating makes your whole family die" faff. No, they were destined. Clockwork sets Danny in a timeloop when not cheating fails. And again and again-- no matter what Danny does, everyone dies.

The timeloop wasn't about saving them, it was about breaking Danny.

It was about making sure that Danny didn't have enough spirit left to become Dan.

Finally released from the loop, broken, lost, alone-- Phantom drifts.

Meanwhile in Gotham, Red Hood just enters the scene with violence and a threat to end things if the Bat doesn't. But instead of four heads in a duffel bag, Red Hood finds an odd ring while he's looking into the competition and planning his attacks.

And odd ring who has other ideas.

Phantom and Red Hood combined?

Broken.

Angry.

Hurt.

A kid.

A kid who desperately just wants to go home.

A kid with white hair and a black streak. With neon green eyes. Who's tall but just a slight thing. Who's desperate and broken and lost knocking at the manor door because he really just needs a hug from his Jason's their's his dad.

Well fuck, that would be fun to do.

Amusingly (?) as you send this the rain broke finally and now I want to curly up in a ball and not exist.

Hum. Ngl, I don't know a lot about the Lanterns. I mean, I know the overall range and that Hal is good to use when you need someone to put their foot in their mouth lol, bu there's a lot of lore I'm missing about the different rings and their whole... business.

So likely not anytime soon?

Ah, backstory... Well, the working on the streets part started because Danny needed money and a way to get it with no ID/tax trail. He pretty much had goon work, drug work, or sex work as options. Some of the goon work, like the Penguin pay on the books for that work, just under a fake service for the Iceberg so that's out. (Red Hood might too if he still has his goons.) The rest of the goon work... esh. No way is he doing drug work. So... sex work. Danny already has Too Many Thoughts™️about his body and body autonomy, what's adding another set of complications to that! :)

As for cross dressing I think it started out as him figuring he could just do blow jobs to start and there had to be more clients for women and the slutty clothing was easier to find so... though it's much more complicated than that now.

As for how he ended up in Gotham? I know the usually fleeing bit but I'm still sussing out what he's been through. The GIW are heavily involved though and more competent than expected... which I have some mean thoughts about where that competency comes from.

I'll be honest, some of my ideas from Black Smoke Custody have transferred to to the Tired Dad's AU. I think that maybe BSC will be a bit smaller than originally planned and take place fully on the watchtower/how the JL is seeing this relationship and a lot of the Dadentine will end up in the other one?

Because I really do still love the imagery of BSC and want to write that all, but not everything needs to be in that one fic, you know?

How did Red Hood meet Minx Danny?

I think it has to be while Danny was first working the street. Perhaps one of the other sex workers even pointed Danny out to him, asking Hood to watch out for 'the kid'-- especially since Danny was working the streets cross dressing.

Of course Danny was probably a lot of snark, being very new to Gotham and having no clue who Red Hood was or if he could be trusted.

I am so, so tired. And I keep having a mild allergic reaction to something in my house? It's good times. I desperately need it to be mid May already.

Tasty... I got myself churros yesterday! Plane and strawberry. Those were good. There's a little Mexican bakery and I'll stop there, pick up a gyro, and sometimes a milk tea that's just down from the Greek place.
