Some thoughts on Caine

It seems like quite a few fans of thew pilot are assuming that Caine is an AI. And well, that could be the case - there's only one episode so far - I actually have a theory about Caine.

Firstly, Caine is a human, not just any human, but the programmer and head developer of the amazing digital circus and Secondly, he digitized himself willingly. I don't think that the creepy empty office is behind the exit door are a reference to the backrooms or some other similar horror. No, I think they're a reflection of the actual offices where the original program was developed. The logo on the wall - C&A. It's probably a children's entertainment company or a toy company. Or I should say was a children's entertainment or to our company? I think they're defunct, and I'll get into that a minute.

Given our limited amount of information, we don't know if putting on one of these headsets fully digitizes you and removes your body from the physical world, or if all of the characters stuck in the show are hooked up to a machine somewhere. Because that is an important distinction to make. It's possible that originally there was supposed to be a second person on the outside world, ready to remove you from the program when you gave them a signal, and because the company no longer exists, there's no one to do that any more. And that's why they can't get out. It could also be in the development of the programmed went horribly wrong and Caine, having made himself a part of it, either because he was very passionate about the project and really believed it (or maybe because he was dying? that could be interesting.) had no idea.

He wouldn't have any contact with the outside world after he became part of the program. All he would know is that the humans that were getting turned into characters, we're no longer happy to be there like they and all that he could do was try to make them happy with their new existence as much as possible.

I don't think Caine is malicious. I think that turning himself from a human into a computer program willingly messed up his mind, and the reason he can't be corrupted is because he's part of the amazing digital circus and he has full control over it.

He absolutely knows more about what's going on than what he tells them though. Bubble is an AI, probably the AI originally designed to run the program and superseded by Caine once he inserted himself into it or one he designed to be his assistant.

I find this interesting the first thing that is thought here of the pair about is them having kids.

Personally, I don't think they'll have children when they're older because they have so much ambition and passion on the things they do (highly doubt they even thought of it.)

To my surprise, shock, and horror, Andy's actually been on the staff of many Looney Tunes-related projects, dating as far back as 2005's "Loonatics Unleashed" as a character designer.

I thought Andy, of all people, would have better judgment and better taste. But, apparently… he's actually part of the problem that is this new wave of reboots, remakes, and continuations of legacy properties trying to indoctrinate people into new ways of thinking.

From Mega Man fan art, to Ivan the Unbearable, to terrible Looney Tunes things?! ... My core belief system has been shaken. I am in disarray.

Escaped From Home Au: Gadgets, Autos, and Gears ------------------------------- That's the place June has worked in since the 90s, ever since Gadget Hackwrench gave her the chance despite June being a puppet. Poppy is most like the Mock Turtle I think right away! So sad, tearful- She must be crying about her past as a turtle! I imagine if Wally brushes away some feathers of Hers, he finds a Little Tiny Out of place turtle shell��

He must come across the Cheshire cat too! I think Barnaby is the most Equal to that! Mischievous, Lackadaisical, and fond of trouble making! He disappears and Leaves those big spots of his behind!

Julie and Frank are always a pair, I think they would be Essential as the March Hare and the Hatter respectively! Consistently trapped at 6:00, but I don’t Think they mind too much- Although I don’t imagine Tea is the type of Party they have- It’s more like a Play date, Wally thinks

These next choices are Silly and unsuspected Choices, but bare With me! (I like to Think about my options!) I imagine Sally must be the Caterpillar, She carries herself very Poised and without the Desire to hold much attention for Wally- She has better things to worry about, but she speaks Very Elegantly and Mysteriously about Mushrooms and Sizes…

But Howdy must be the Queen of Hearts- He likes being in charge- His own Boss! A crown over his Paper hat is a funny Visual too… Plus, He must not want to deal with Small talk- A verdict is Much easier in order to get Back to Business (Of which Howdy loves most!) “Scram, kid! I gotta place to run!” He snapped at Wally who has been staring at him Silently through a whole court Proceeding.

The funny part of my Escaped From Home au is the fact that Gen and June are acutally sentient puppets who happens to recside at a part of Toontown. Like if Mob!Wally tries to scoop June’s eye out, the plastic disk will be ricocheting across multiple surfaces before being shot into Mob!Barnaby’s mouth. A part of the glue will remain on the space where the eye was removed. Poor Gen has to take her to the local Toon hospital to get a replacement
