A and B hanging out with a group of their friends, after having just gone out together, now back at someone's house eating a meal, playing some games, having fun~

the only problem is, the place they've just been really sets off B's allergies, which A knows, along with the fact B refuses to sneeze in front of people (whether for kink!reasons, or other ones)

glancing over at B, A can see how itchy they look, their hands keep touching their face, pinching or rubbing their nose, trying to sniffle as discreetly as possible

knowing they're too polite/shy to just get up and leave, A stands from where they were lounging, grabs B by the arm, and tosses some excuse over at the group, who for the most part doesn't even notice

dragging B into a bedroom/bathroom, A closes the door behind them, smiling fondly to themself as B immediately ducks down with a "nGt!- nXGt!- dXGt!-"

"let them out, love" A offers gently, grabbing up some tissues and handing them over, "you've gotta get it all done before we go back out there"

"thagk you-" B manages, with a relieved glance at A, before ducking into the tissues with a vocal, "ekt'chhh-oo!", starting to work their way through the allergy attack they'd been postponing for so long

with, of course, A offering blessings and rubbing their back through it all~

Found a rogue clip on my phone I never posted, so why not? This was mostly experimenting with stifles until the very end when things took....a turn. <spoiler alert: things get a little louder at the end> Please enjoy?

two people sitting in a room, not talking to each other, just kinda co-existing, until A pitches forward with a "nGXt!-", B not even bothering to look up as they toss a blessing, which is met with "thanks" and a sniffle, before silence falls back over the room

—until there's another stifle, a second following right on it's tail, and finally a vocal "eH'TSChh-oo!"

which is finally enough to get B to look up from whatever they're doing, and gives their full attention with a "bless you!"

and A replies with another thanks, making eye contact and nodding some silent approval, 'yeah I'm alright', as the comfortable silence settles once more

at least until the next interruption~

I feel all of this. I love being blessed (seriously, we're talking like top three favorite things in the world for me), but the mental block is bad bad. There is a very small handful of people I can openly snz around (single digits) and even then it's so. very. hard. I eternally wonder if I could easily (or more easily) drop the block if I were knowingly around someone else with the kink. Maybe someday in an alternate universe I can test that idea. 🤷‍♀️

does anyone’s mental block lift in front of people they’re sexually/romantically interested in? I really like being blessed, and I’ll find myself not only wanting to see a crush sneeze but also wanting them to bless me and comment on my sneezes.

i might see sneezing as a flirtatious act, at least when i do it 🫣

This was another good session for me. Got a lot of unusual stuff that doesn't normally happen to me, so that was fun. There was the sort of triple-y, almost quadruple-y thing near the beginning (complete with my expression of surprise since that never (ever, ever) happens to me), and there's hitchy false start land in the middle (also pretty rare). A couple rogue stifles in there somewhere, a little cough at the very beginning I was too lazy to edit. I did some light editing to cut out some minor dog noises, but some of it couldn't be avoided since they were in there with me and sleeping the whole time - they snore pretty loudly, what can you do. 🐶

A is lying in bed only half awake. They can tell by the sound of the breathing that their partner is still asleep next to them. A tiny shaft of sunlight slips by the blinds and his A in the face just right, barely leaving time to react and stifle the oncoming snz. They wait, thinking they kept it just quiet enough. Then they feel the hand gently rubbing their back and a quiet, sleepy "bless you" from their partner. "Thank you," A says in a whisper, embarrassed for waking up their partner and yet still melting inside hearing so much care in their partner's voice even when they're half asleep. <fin>

Imagine if hayfever was contagious

Imagine someone who's never had an issue with the spring before. They love spring-- love the flowers and the creatures and the sun. They spent just a little bit too long with their friend, though, who gets hopelessly stuffy around anything with a little pollen.

Cut to them a few days later, just trying to enjoy their day, but suddenly being anywhere outside makes them tickly. Even just the sight of flowers makes their nose twitch, and opening a window makes them start to hitch. The pollen count goes up, and suddenly they're having the strongest fit they've had in years, itchy, contagious sneezes barreling out of them. They've developed hayfever faster than anyone could get a tissue out, and if people aren't careful, they'll get it too.

Kinda love it when a person clears their throat in the middle of a series of snzes and then carries on with the fit or clears their throat so immediately after they're done snzing that it's like a continuation of their final snz <that concludes this episode of snz-adjacent things I love>

thinking about someone who invariably sneezes the same number of times and, if they feel them coming on mid-conversation, will hold up their hand(s) with the relevant number of fingers extended, counting their sneezes down to zero so that the other person knows it's safe to start talking again

This was a tiny little seed in my brain a few days ago that blossomed in full last night while I was in the shower.

As it happens, while I was working through this in my mind, I did snz myself - the whole suggestive snz thing is no joke, people. 😶 You decide to take an early evening walk in a nearby park. It is a spectacular fall evening, still pleasant, but not too warm. The leaves on the many trees are absolutely aflame in brilliant fall colors; it's why you like walking in this park often. As you make your way down the path, you hear it - spaced out single snzes from someone up ahead, seemingly going on forever. As you close the distance you see someone sitting on a park bench absolutely in the throes of it; eyes streaming, a pile of tissues practically clamped to their face. Just as you approach the the area of the bench, a strong snz, a brief pause, then another, stronger. Them: Oh, excuse me, I'm sorry. You: Bless you. Are you all right? Them: Thank you. I'm OK, I just have terrible fall allergies. I was halfway here before I realized my meds were wearing off and I had forgotten to take mo...<snz> more. I thought I would be fine for a little whi...<snz> while. I just wanted to enjoy the lovely weather and finish the last chapter of this boo...<snz> book I'm working on. Clearly, I...I underestimated <snz>. You: Bless you. I'm sorry that you're suffering. I have this sealed bottle of water that I had in a cooling sleeve in my car so it's nice and cold. Maybe that could help a little if you'd like it? Them: Oh, thank you, if you don't mind. On top of everything else, my throat is also itchy. Something cool would be wonderful. I really appreciate your kind....<snz> kindness. I better head out and get back...back home <snz>. As the two of you head in opposite directions, a small smile plays on your face as you listen to their occasional and still seemingly never ending snzing drifting down the path.

This was a good session for me, by far the longest wav I've posted here. Very minimal editing, which is nice since I usually have to cut out a bunch of dead air. Only thing I had to cut out was my phone ringing (stupid spam call) and had to work around some dog snoring (oops). Since I didn't have to edit, I left in some things I usually take out, so there is a little sniffling in here and a tiny (very tiny) bit of coughing. One rogue half-stifle also. As usual, if harsh is not your thing, proceed with caution and/or avert your ears. Non-harsh people - sorry I can't make audio to your liking, I am but one woman trying to give back to the community. (Also, I snzed twice just while typing this post. welcome yet again to "i'm sure this post exists and hell, I've probably reblogged it but-"

someone who always stifles. you've probably never heard them sneeze without stifling it, that's just what they do.

but then, you get closer to them, (platonic, romantic, anything) and just the two of you are hanging out, and you hear that telltale gasp, and look over just in time to witness them sneeze. like- actually sneeze, not stifle it, or muffle it, just politely cover it.

and soon enough you notice them doing that more around you, maybe when you're with a group of their close friends, when before they'd still stifle it, maybe when it's just you two~

something about being let into that inner circle, the trusted group, and them letting it go fully around you~

(maybe even because/when they know you like it?? dealers choice~)
