i think dirk strider would listen to alanis morissette (performatively) and dave would get all in his head about how none of the scenarios she describes as ironic actually are and he would develop a complex about how dirks only listening to it as an ironic subversion of itself and the use of irony in songwriting and how cool it is that dirks keyed in w that type of shit when in reality dirk is just a sad little bitch and wants everyone to feel bad for him lol
