So, I know now's a pretty bad time what with genocide going on and like, the holidays and all that, but my cat just died which I'm receiving a brutal lesson is actually quite an expensive affair.

I'm already too disabled to work, I get by with the support of my lovely spouse, and I try to do my writing for a living but I've been too depressed even for that lately.

So, yeah, if you've ever read my stuff and liked it, I'd be super thankful for anything anybody could offer. Or if you just wanna take pity on me and give me some money I'm not beyond that either I'll take what I can get. Obviously only give if you're able, it's December and everybody's got stuff going on but I guess this is just kind of a plea for help.

I am so serious when I say if you want to learn about light, you NEED to at least look at modeseven’s tutorials. even if you’re not pursuing a painterly style, this is all essential theory that can be easily adapted to different coloring styles. notice how none of these ever say ‘light with these colors and shade with these colors’? notice how this is teaching how light works on a mechanical level, and reminding the audience to adjust the actual colors they choose by context? THAT is good advice.

(if you’re thinking ‘wow I want to study more of this persons art!’ I encourage you to do so, but proceed with the knowledge that modeseven draws pretty much exclusively weird as hell kink art. sometimes wisdom comes from horny places)

Well, specifically lady fat foxes, and if it’s done in a very lesbian way that focuses a lot on the magic. If that sounds good to you, I encourage you to check this one out.

I was pretty anxious about this one after writing it, not a lot of people I showed it to seemed to get it, but after rereading it from a fourth perspective, I still stand by it as a fantastic work. Comments on this one would be PARTICULARLY appreciated, I always love receiving feedback regardless, but this one, if it’s to your taste I’d love to know.
