Went to Cowboyland (my home) to see my old friend at his homestead that I hadn`t been to in a good while. I had brought my Olympus Mju ii and took some snaps while the hours flew by gabbing, diving deep and catching up. Sitting at his kitchen table, Helge served me photo books, novels, snacks and his own photo projects. I left feeling inspired. Seeing the photo books and all the different projects was such an important reminder to still shoot and appreciate photography beyond the screen/Instagram and actually take it in as it should; As physical prints, books, photo albums, and even more important - having fun doing it. When you have a photo practice that spans over decades its important to remind yourself why you started in the first place. Helge reminded me of this and I am super grateful for hospitality, espressos, Håland-rhubarb, flowers and friendship!
