A few weeks ago the UN reported that everyone in Gaza is facing a food crisis -and that 1 in every 4 people in Gaza are starving -a quarter of their population is hundreds of thousands of Palestinian people. EVERYONE is hungry -their medical systems have collapsed and there are imminent outbreaks of diseases. How HUMILIATING and dehumanizing it is to have to fight for basic necessities. Imagine seeing a humanitarian truck -something rare because as we know the IOF has been collectively punishing Palestinian people for months now and has been committing mass genocide under the guide of 'war.' Not letting through resources to prevent people from dying from starvation is beyond depraved. And the fact we will NEVER see this on western/European mass media is just... absolutely infuriating.

Do not ignore the suffering of Sudanese women | Women's Rights | Al Jazeera
Sudanese women are bearing the brunt of the vicious war that began in mid-April between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF). More than six million people have been displaced since the new war erupted including an estimated 105,000 women who are currently pregnant, according to the United Nations. Of the 1.2 million who have fled to neighbouring countries, nearly nine in 10 are women and children. The healthcare system in Sudan is in a perilous state – 70 to 80 percent of hospitals in conflict areas are not operational – with devastating consequences for women in need of maternal health medicines.

I'm sorry to sending this ask to you, but I don't know where else to say it, my blog has like negative number of followers and no one will hear me there, and I remember you reblogging that post about curseforge supporting israeli army? You know the Wix site some simmers upload their cc to? It's an israeli company with hq in tel aviv, listed in usa. Maybe some people would want to stop using it if they knew.
thank you for bringing this up again anon, i was wondering yesterday if some missed that anti-curseforge post... wix is also on the BDS list of companies to boycott for supporting Israel, but i haven't seen much discussion of its role in our community specifically.
DON'T USE CURSEFORGE
DON'T USE WIX
Wix asked their employees to create pro-Israel content and fired an employee for condemning Israel
Wix offers "Stand With Israel" website badges
Wix is Israel's most valuable company
Wix employees have been called up to reserve service in the IDF

I'll be honest even if boycotting did absolutely nothing I would still participate in it because it is the absolute bare fucking minimum for a country under genocidal siege to not buy a burger okay. It's not even bare minimum it's negative minimum. You're a bad person objectively if you cannot do something as trivial as not buy a brand or get your coffee from a different place. You're selfish

Grown IDF soldiers terrorizing, beating, and torturing a 14 year old boy for 'information,' I just... and knowing this is not isolated -this is the reality of MANY of the thousands of Palestinians being tried in illegal Israeli military courts and in prisons where they are in the most terrible of conditions, and are treated like this young boy. This settler state must not be able to continue to do this. This is, by definition, cruel and unusual punishment, as described by any and most Charter's around the world. This is beyond excessive use of force, abuse and violence.
End the occupation, ceasefire now and permanently, and free Palestine!

The consistent dehumanization language used in describing Palestinians in western media is unfathomable. The consistent denial of seeing our children as children. For everybody seeing this, don't fall into this, seek out the truth and educate yourself because that's the best and only way we can help people in Palestine. We have to amplify their voices.

Quick context about the 150 Palestinians that Israel will release from its prisons in exchange for 50 hostages held by Hamas as part of the 2023 "ceasefire" agreement:
Among the ones who will be released today will be 24 Palestinian women and 14 Palestinian children.
There are currently 7,200 Palestinians held by Israel, this number does not include prisoners from Gaza like day workers who were kidnapped by Israel.
2,300 of the Palestinian prisoners are administrative detainees, which means they are held indefinitely without charges.
Since October 7, Israel had imprisoned 3,145 Palestinians in the West Bank alone, 250 of whom are children, a number which is unprecedented since 1967.
Remember that israel will continue to hold about 250 Palestinian children in its prisons under brutal conditions.
While Israel has been sloppily playing the victim part and desperately trying to make this about ~Khamas~, it is crucial to note that all of the above numbers are from the West Bank alone, where Hamas does not operate. This is a reminder that Israel is routinely aggressive against Palestinians regardless of their age, where they are, political affiliations, etc...

Really relevant right now. Despair and defeat is what they want you to feel - that's a colonial weapon in itself. So don't you dare fucking stop, turn your rage and grief into fuel that keeps you going.

USAmericans who are celebrating thanksgiving today (11/23/2023) I encourage us all to find out which native tribe are the historic stewards of the land we're breaking bread on, and then find an action we can take to honor them. beyond buckskin is a great starting point for finding native-owned small businesses you can buy from. native movement has a resources list of various books, articles, podcasts, video panels and short films, etc to educate about decolonization -- not all these resources are available for free online but a good number of them are. you can always google your local tribe(s) and search for nonprofits & other social programming to support with donations of your time or money. please add links to this post if you have other resources to share!

imagine getting distracted from a live slaughter of indigenous people in the middle east because your government (currently actively funding the current genocide) wants you to celebrate the massacring of the indigenous population on This land that they successfully rebranded as a Holiday About Gratitude. like please be serious. please
