King Fulke eyes her greedily and tilts his head, giving her the go ahead. She starts to dance, her black skirts swishing against the polished floor and arcing her ankles, her hips moving to the pulse of the music, her eyes a lure of enticement matched by the curve of her lips.

Pirates crawl everywhere, hauling screaming saddles away, looting through all of our things. Fighting and taunting our vastly outnumbered guards. Every single one of them wears the same white fur clothes, the same red cloth wrapped around their faces and heads, leaving only their eyes exposed.

The snow Pirates scene, I tried to make the boats in Blender and then drew in the pirates and snow claws.

He gets bored of this as well, and instead moves me to sit on the floor in front of his legs. I think he likes the visualization of Midas's most prized favored sitting at his feet.

I felt horrible for Auren here, the way she was seeking help from her king and he gives her away to another king as if she's an object to trade...

"King Fulke, as promised, I gift you this night with my gold-touched favoured." Midas looks at me, pinning me in place despite the distance between us, those brown eyes like soil burying me with suffocating weight. "Auren, come forward."

A greater being like the Goddess of Night, of Blood, of Shadow herself. Heir to the Crown of the Dead. mother of Vampires. The hair rose on my arms. "Bow," the Ministraer whispered. "Bow for our Mother of the Ravenous Dark, Nyaxia."

Nyaxia is one of the best descriptions I've ever gotten to the presence of a god/dess. She was beautifully described.
