A Serendipitous Symphony
By Coddiwomple
Nine months of courtship, waiting in line,
He longed for her answer, a sign so benign.
Yet, before she spoke her late "yes" so bright,
Their hearts had danced in love's early light.
Couples' sweet whispers shared in the night,
Tackled each struggle, held each other tight.
Confusions faded, doubts swept away,
In the glow of her love's warm display.
On the eighteenth, she whispered her part,
One month shy of his birthday’s start.
Their first monthsary, a joyous surprise,
Love's timeline revealed before their eyes.
Daily life unchanged, yet he was amazed,
By her newfound sweetness, in soft words phrased.
The tsundere mask, shyly cast aside,
Revealed tender feelings she couldn't hide.
Future problems, she knew, they'd embrace,
Family hopes and studies to face.
Her mother's caution, a vigilant guide,
Yet love's gentle flame, she couldn't hide.
She vowed not to falter, to strive and dream,
Balancing love with life’s flowing stream.
Hoping acceptance from all would bloom,
So their love could flourish, dispelling gloom.
In this rhythm of love, their story unfolds,
Hearts intertwined, as their journey molds.
With each challenge faced, their bond grows strong,
A love story written, where they belong.

Veiled Embers
By: Coddiwomple
In masquerade of strength one strides,
With hidden tides one chooses to bide.
An independent flame on show,
Though embers flicker soft and low.
A beacon bright, dependable guise,
But shadows lurk behind the eyes.
In moments, yearning to confide,
A mirror’s truth one can't abide.
Intellect's fortress, strong and tall,
Yet looks, they whisper, matter after all.
Once indifferent to their call,
Now, doubts within begin to crawl.
No song, no dance, no art's embrace,
Yet self-pride's mask upon the face.
A beau courts with tales of near,
Words bring forth the hidden fear.
Scrolling through their past delight,
Dusky emotions surge, take flight.
Thou art thy type, a jiving pair,
Thy style, thy looks, thy constant stare.
Compliments given, yet fraught,
A subtle shift within thy thought.
Thou sees one dressed in another’s attire,
To one, this feels a fanning fire.
Absurd, the mind in shadows steep,
Past trivialities haunt one's sleep.
Self-pity's grip, a trivial crime,
Yet wrestling, caught in time.
Assurances, thy love sincere,
Yet insecurities draw near.
Independent role, one strives to keep,
But under masks, sorrows seep.
For now, the mask donned once more,
A smile hides what lies in store.
An independent flame on show,
While embers flicker soft and low.

Winds of Change
By: Coddiwomple
In youth, I sang of change with cheer,
A tune of growth, devoid of fear.
A bright horizon beckoned near,
A future full of dreams made clear.
But now I'm caught in change's dance,
In midst of steps, I lose my stance.
Old friends seem distant, eyes askance,
Their presence fades, a vague expanse.
I thought that change would bring me light,
But now it cloaks my world in night.
The bonds I cherished take to flight,
A journey fraught with lonely plight.
I question if this path I tread,
Is worth the tears and nights I've bled.
Would it be best to stay instead,
In comfort's arms, no growth ahead?
Yet deep within, a whisper calls,
Through shadowed doubts and silent halls.
Embrace the change, despite the falls,
For growth requires the courage to sprawl.
So though the past feels safe and warm,
To bloom, I must endure the storm.
With change, my heart and soul transform,
I'll find new bonds, a different norm.
In change, I'll weave a brighter tale,
Though old friends drift, new ones prevail.
For growth demands that we set sail,
Through uncharted seas, with wind and gale.

Evolving Echoes
By: Coddiwomple
In the quiet glow of a fleeting day,
Your presence, like a gentle ray,
Fills my home with newfound cheer,
Bringing warmth whenever you appear.
Your visit, unprecedented, bright,
Brings comfort, like a guiding light,
Slowly weaving into the fabric of home,
With each passing moment, we've grown.
My mother, with arms open wide,
Welcomes you, no need to hide,
Her worries for our future's grace,
Softened by your gentle embrace.
As we converse, the evening's hue,
She speaks of youth, free and true,
Moments unburdened by time's demand,
In her wisdom, she extends a hand.
For in her counsel, a seed of truth,
She sees in you, a cherished youth,
A future bright, with love entwined,
Where you and I, our destinies find.
So here we stand, in this moment's glow,
With hearts aglow and spirits aglow,
Grateful for the love that binds us near,
Embracing the future without fear.

Unfound Tempo
By: Coddiwomple
In the twilight's embrace, amidst the concert's song,
His courtship's whispers, tender and strong.
Yet amidst the melody, my mind did roam,
Seeking the right moment, a place to call home.
As we strolled in the afterglow's gentle hue,
"Yes" lingered on my lips, thoughts anew.
But amidst the whispers of doubt and delay,
Time slipped through fingers, moments at bay.
In the dance of stars, in the whispering breeze,
I long to find the moment, to put heart at ease.
To say "yes" to his love, with courage untold,
In the symphony of time, a tale yet to unfold.
So let the chords of fate guide our steps in rhyme,
For in the dance of love, we'll find our time.
To say "yes" with grace, in the moon's soft glow,
In the tender embrace of love's sweet flow.

Twilight's Conundrum
By: Coddiwomple
In twilight's grasp, she stands unsure,
Her heart weighed down by doubt's allure.
Should she persist, or should she flee,
From the labyrinth of mystery?
The shadows deepen, casting doubt,
As she questions what love's truly about.
Can she be the savior, his guiding light,
Or will she stumble in the endless night?
His words, though eloquent, hide a storm,
And she wonders if love can truly transform.
Will she be the anchor, or will she drown,
In the depths of his sorrow, weighted down?
Yet still she feels the pull, the tug of fate,
As she contemplates their uncertain state.
For love is a gamble, a risky bet,
But can she afford to live with regret?
She longs to reach him, to break the spell,
But fears the toll it may take on her as well.
For love is a journey, both wild and vast,
And she wonders if she's strong enough to last.
In the end, she knows not what to do,
But to follow her heart, pure and true.
For whether their love blooms or falls apart,
She'll cherish the journey, every beat of its start.

Echoes of Solitude
By: Coddiwomple
In twilight's grasp, she stands perplexed,
As shadows dance upon her soul,
For the one who courts with words complex,
Hides beneath an existential toll.
His heart a maze of twisted paths,
Where doubts and fears hold sway,
Each day he wears a mask, it masks
The pain he bears, the price to pay.
He speaks in whispers, self-deprecating,
As if his worth were but a grain of sand,
She longs to heal, to mend his breaking,
Yet he retreats, a solitary strand.
She offers solace, love, and care,
But he refuses, locked within his shell,
As she stands watching, in despair,
Yearning to free him from his lonely spell.
For how can she reach a heart so closed,
A soul so burdened by its weight?
She longs to see his spirit composed,
Yet he remains in his desolate state.
So she waits, with hope yet tinged with fear,
Hoping one day he'll let her in,
To share the load, to wipe the tear,
And together, a new chapter begin.

C'est La Vie
By: Coddiwomple
In the dance of life, we sway and spin,
C'est la vie, the song within.
Through highs and lows, we find our way,
Embracing each moment, come what may.
In laughter's echo, and tears that fall,
C'est la vie, the rhythm of it all.
With every sunrise, a new chance to see,
The beauty in this symphony.
Through trials faced and battles won,
C'est la vie, the journey's begun.
With hearts ablaze and spirits free,
We dance along life's melody.
So let us cherish, with hearts aglow,
C'est la vie, our ebb and flow.
For in its embrace, we come alive,
C'est la vie, let's thrive and strive.
