Cool.... thing how'd ya make it? seems a bit attached to ya. Also heres a name idea: Umbra Dusk Umbra (The innermost and darkest part of a shadow, where the light source is completely blocked) Dusk (The the darker stage of twilight where its fading from day to night)

Sooo, somthing about changlings in media outside the show:

so outside the show we get some into about changelings we don't normally get, for example in the MLP CCG we get the names of some changelings, some examples are:

so normal at first, then we get to the RPG (specifically Dark skies over Equestria), at first its alright with changelings like Antenniae

they are an old gen changling that separated themselves from the hive, dislikes eating emotions, and kept stealing things by mistake, being apart of chapter 3 (Lost in the shadows).

Next chapter we have A PORTAL THAT DRAINS MAGIC, LOVE AND LIGHT FROM EQUESTRIA!!!

Two chapters later (Chapter 6) we have Spiracle:

A changeling who like gardening (and gets bullied for it), heck, later in chapter 8 she helps you, speaking of chapter 8. Cercus (no image) Is a master spy who infiltrated ponyville.

another unique changeling is Elytra (Also no Image), a changing inventor who co-created a paralyzer, later modifying it INTO A SIPHONER THAT ALLOWS THE USER TO DRAIN MAGIC AND ADD IT TO THEMSELF.

THEN WE GET TEGMINA, Chrysalises most powerful guard

She ended up using the siphoner to siphon Celestia's magic before commiting mutiny and planed on overthrowing chrysalis... and yet she is not the most crazy of the clanglings, that reward goes to Cicada from a different storyline (which I cannot find so I have to use bit of a youtube vid for the image):

She was banished from the hive for being too selfish and powerful, she was born with the ability to, I kid you not:

Create whirl winds.

Brainwash ponies by singing.

Create magical constructs to protect her.

Build her own hive (using Ponyville's resources)

All this is tied with her emotions...

to summarize.. Changelings are very unique outside of the show.
