Swamped!

I've been so overwhelmed with my job that I haven't had the time to draw or for anything personal really. By the time I get around to it I'm energy depleted.

Anyway...I got some time to whip out a quick one (pause) and thought it should reflect my present state. Here's our favourite Entomologist. Son Gohan taking a quick breather from his endless research.

The Protector

Yeah yeah, I know what everyone says. "Goku is a bad father"... blah blah blah..."something something Piccolo"....yeah we get it.

He isn't the best father around, maybe he's not as emotionally intelligent as Vegeta or even Piccolo (what a statement lol ). But Goku sure as hell loves his family and does it the best way he knows how. By protecting them, by sacrificing himself for their own good and you know what? Gohan and Goten understands that....no Chichi on the other hand....

Duality

I can't help but notice that Clark Kent/ Superman vibe that Gohan gives off sometimes. A hard working, down to earth regular guy in a suit lol. That is until some idiot decides to mess with his family or earth(maybe). Then the glasses are off!...ha ha (I'll see myself out)

Anyway, he looks good in formal wear. Right?

The Ox King

From his flaming castle days in the original Dragon Ball till now. Ox King kinda grew on me. Great Father, grand father and a family man. A true gentle giant.

Black And White #6.- Tranquility

Self is one of the biggest obsticles anyone could ever face. We are indeed our own worst enemy. Bellowing seas and earth rending winds once ruled Vegeta's mind...but now he is the master of his own storm. A storm that has been transformed into a still glassy sea and a fresh gentle breeze...

His character development has turned him into one of my favourites.

The Pinnacle of Conceit

I always wondered why would Zamasu take Goku's body if he hated mortals so much but he said it himself, "This is the embodiment of the sins of mortalkind"....or something like that. Imagine having so much pride that you become what you hate and still think that you're better than the rest of them....

This Is what happens when you consume too much tree of might fruit...it goes straight to your thighs. Honestly its the first thing I notice whenever I see Turles...thighs, thighs and more thighs lol

Pure Blooded Saiyans

I was so happy when they added Broly to the team in Super. Would have been a big waste to let his character slip away into nothingness. Now Goku has a new sparring partner and Vegeta has a new idiot to deal with lol...hoping we get to see more of them soon.

Rise And Shine! (Vegeta Edition)

Unlike Goku who probably backflips outta bed, Vegeta is more "regal" when he wakes up. He moisturizes before bed and sleeps with a facemask on and nobody could convince me otherwise because Bulma exposed his pampered side in Daima....We love you Getes ;)

Vegeta will never fail to make something a competition between himself and Goku Kakarot. Whether it be fighting or simple things like who could eat the most in one sitting, it's ALWAYS on. It all works out though because they bring out the best in each other....and sometimes the absolute worse lol...

They are two sides of the same coin...

A Happy Memorial

Today marks a year since the world was shaken by the loss of Akira Toriyama. One thing to note is that his work still lives on as strong as ever even though he has passed. This is not a post to remember sadness but one to comemorate Greatness. I am happy that all these characters exist, happy that I can draw them and make an entire blog surrounded by them.

A Faithful Friend

I've always wondered how Tien and Chiaotzu came to be best friends. It would be nice to get some back story on that. What have these two been through that they would be so willing to die for each other?

Son Goten. All Grown Up Goten use to be one of my favourite characters when i was a child especially after Gohan grew up. It was nice to see another character who was close to my age. He even looked like Goku which was an added bonus. But then I grew up and Goten didn't lol.Glad that Dragon ball Super fixed that issue though. Apparently saiyans have late growth spurts... Edit: I have been reminded that the end of Z showcased an older Goten....lol totally forgot about that.
