Ok, I have looked at this page of vampires and I noticed something was off here. If you look in the top left there is a mummy they labeled as a vampire, and it likely was, but I have one question, how could it exist? Vampires have two weaknesses, which are very similar, sunlight and hamon which both fully disintegrates a vampire completely, never once did we ever see one die without completely dissolving due to regeneration (I of course could be missing the deaths of one of the unnamed vampires). There could be misconception, so I'll try to cover every vamp I know: (please read the rest, I guess didn't want this post to take too much space)

Straizo: Kills himself after using hamon, visibly disintegrating

Wired Beck: Dissolves after Lisa uses hamon on him

Vanilla Ice: Body disappears in the sunlight

Dio Brando: People think Dio died when Jotaro broke him half

But he died when the sun touched his body

I would question why would they to throw his body out there if Dio wasn't technically alive when split.

Nukesaku: If he died here, then that means that vampires can leave behind bodies, but we never had confirmation he died.

Firstly he talked despite being like this and secondly it's likely he wouldn't die like this when vampires bodies have when through worse unless his regeneration/ability to live torn apart is shit, Starizo's body was in pieces but yet he was able to pull himself together, and these panels seem to prove Nukesaku can't die via normal means

Though I am hesitant to be certain because there the part about him being in pieces, not sure if it would be death threat or a torture threat.

If Nukesaku did die it might clear up the mummy thing, but it would be confusing why only Nukesaku could be killed like this. The only reason I could justify this is that Dio's body wasn't quite vampiring before he had Joseph's blood because he couldn't bond with Johnathan's body, and the vampirism he gave to Nukesaku was pretty shitty as a result. Here's all my thoughts, not sure if the mummy was even a vampire because I reread it and didn't catch it, though the fangs in that one panel context clues seem to make it clear. If it was a vampire, how did it get mummified when vampires don't usually leave body. Was it a early vampire who couldn't regenerate as well because Kars did experiment on humans, which implied there might be differences in the vampires he made? Or maybe Araki forgot, who knows
