Doaa ( @doaafamily ) is Mohiy's cousin and she has created this campaign to help her family in Gaza. Her family has been separated due to displacement, with her mother caring for her injured nephew, her brother recovering from surgery, and Doaa and her children trying to survive on their own.

This fundraiser is Doaa's family's only source of income right now. It provides vital support that allows her and her children to access essentials, such as food, clothes, and blankets. The pause in donations has left them without any support in these last months. What little they had raised has been depleted.

It's winter, which makes delivering this support even more vital. The funds must be increased so that Doaa and her children can stay warm and afford meals.

Please help break the stagnation by donating and sharing so Doaa and her children will know they are not alone.

Recently I was able to talk with Ahmed for a bit, He spoke to me generally about the difficult situation there in Gaza and the lack of goods and the minimum necessities of life. He also spoke about little Ronza and how she suffers from malnutrition and anemia, and how there is no milk or nutritional supplements available for her.

No child, no person, should have to suffer like this ever. Please if you are able. Donate and Share so that Ahmed's children and family are able to eat and survive during the ongoing genocide.

Erik Kondo has made a website, Open Source Innovations, that details plans for DIY wheelchairs. These wheelchairs can be made from common materials like wood, plastic, and pvc. They are lightweight and can be custom fit to the user allowing from the same degree of movement you would get from a custom chair. And they are durable and easily repairable. (he has been stress testing his latest design by dropping it down stairs, dropping it out of a car, launching it across a driveway, and throwing it off a deck). Its 12lbs and I think he said its was in the $200 ish range for parts.

He also is working on cheap, open source, accessible designs for beach chairs, off road chairs, motorized attachments (think smart drive), and so on. Plus he skateboards in his wheelchair. Cool dude, helpful info, pass it on.

These days are very difficult. For 60 days, we have only eaten bread. There is no such thing in Gaza. Even vegetables are no longer available. Due to the high prices, a bag of flour costs $1,000 and I cannot buy it because of its very high price. There is also the lack of work because of the occupation's bombing of my workplace and the crossings are closed because of the war that has spared no one. You are my only hope.

My name is Inas Imad, from Gaza, and I am 30 year old wife and first time expecting mother living in the most unimaginable and dire circumstances for over a year now. Three years ago I married my best friend and have struggled trying to start a family. Even after this war began, my husband and I did not lose hope in starting our family and we continued in determination to live and to bring new life into this world. I am now currently pregnant with our first child, however due to the consequences of this war, I am faced with a high risk, dangerous pregnancy according to the doctor and I am very afraid that if I do not get get adequate nutrition, the medications, and supplies that I need, I will lose my child. The doctor has ordered medication to be given by injection throughout my pregnancy to help me carry my baby to term, however I do not have the money to purchase the medication and syringes needed, nor do we have the money to purchase adequate nutrition. Life here in Gaza is very difficult and we become more hopeless by the day. My husband and I had just started to build our lives together. We had a nice home where we had planned to start our family, and now we are subjected to living in a tent where there is no bathroom and we spend our nights just trying to get warm. It has been difficult being pregnant and not having a bathroom or even a bed to sleep on, but I want my child more than anything. The only hope we have left is in our baby and I am asking you to stand with us. Please, help us in any way you can to save our child. We feel very alone and abandoned, but we are determined to live and we want to see our child be one of the miracles that comes out of Gaza. Any amount you can donate, no matter how small, means the world to us. We will never forget you standing with us. Please, help me to evacuate from Gaza so that I can see my dream of being a mother and bringing my beautiful baby into this world to make it a better place and helping my husband and I be able to watch our child grow up. This innocent child should not have this happen to her. The same is true for her three siblings, who are also going hungry. Israel cuts Gaza's final internet line, plunging it into total communication blackout.

Israel bombed the last main fibre route in Gaza, which means that as of June 12, all internet and fixed-line communication services are now completely cut off, further isolating Gaza amidst an ongoing genocide.
