I know this is a writing blog, but I have to address the current situation in the US. As a citizen and a person of colour , specifically African - American who know longer lives there, I feel the pain and fear of my fellow women. It's almost like we're in a dystopia. Banning books from children libraries. Denying women their reproductive rights. It's too much. A lot can happen in four years. So much damage can happen and I can only say that to all those who feel unsafe. Please know that you have the support and prayers of your fellow women outside the US . To all writers , take inspiration. Convey a message. They can tape our mouths but they can't tape our minds and hands.
