- Rose Harcourt

Shoutout to all the people who are trying hard to be more positive and make meaningful changes in their lives and work towards recovery because it’s hard and people definitely don’t say it enough, but focusing on yourself is very difficult & the progress you’re making is valuable.

I spent my life learning to feel less. Every day I felt less. Is that growing old? Or is it something worse? You cannot protect yourself from sadness without protecting yourself from happiness.

I don’t have “trust issues”. I got “I’ve seen this type of shit before so I be damned if I go through it all over again” type of issues.

A friend of mine recently told me that’s why they’re called mistakes. You learn from them. Move forward. Be better.
